  1. Happy Birthday Staximus Maximus!
  2. Glad to hear they made it right for you Chris. Besides, with the parts they replaced last time, your pair should be in excellent shape I imagine. Did they replace just the single driver, or the pair?

I did all the booking stuff today, so I will be there. Doing some practice for it right now.
  4. Good to know, will that still be running at 11:30? Where do I sign up? Also, can I make use of that considering I wont have a room reserved in my name?
  5. Indeed you will. Got fairly lucky on the timing, ended up only costing $250 for everything. Flying out of BWI on US Air at 6:10am Wednesday, connections in Vegas, then onward to arrive at SFO at 11am. Return leg is nonstop on Airtran, leaving LAX at 11:30pm Sunday, arriving at BWI around 7:30am the next day.
  6. Plane tickets
  7. Dang, cant sneak anything by Dusty. Ah well, at least they were cheap at 12 squids for a new pair. Shipping them across the pond will bring it up a bit, but not too bad as they are not traveling alone.
  8. MB Quart QP805 and Gillette slim adjustable, '67 vintage. Dont have the first one yet, but the second arrived yesterday. Dang, its nice, thought I had messed up or something this morning, because it didnt feel like I was actually cutting hairs.
  9. Heh, I could swear there was an older one which also listed 'stats. At least it panned out, congrats on the acquisition. Might have to try this trick myself.
  10. Sweet deal. Is that WTB on NY craigslist for Orthos and Stats yours?
  11. Taxes. Federal was OK, but state hurt.
  12. Probably the easiest way would be to open the DAC up and replace the module. It should only be something like 3-5 connections, board mounted. I dont know what part Northstar uses, but it likely is fairly easy to find.
  13. Happy birthday Zach, hope you have a grand, enigmatic day.
  14. For those who may have done this before, what is the best glue to reattach a loose Lambda driver to the frame?
  15. Bunch of Mouser parts last night.
  16. Few hundred LL4148 SOD80C SMD diodes.
  17. Agalloch - Pale Folklore
  18. The IRC PFC series is what I use when I want a SMD resistor a bit fancier than generic 1% thick films.
  19. Yes, some sort of cover would have taken it up a notch, but I couldnt think of anything I had around the house that would be suitable, and wasnt concerned enough to go out to the hardware store. Works fine and the heatshrink I used is fairly thick 3:1 adhesive lined, so I feel it is good enough. Finally means I have enough length to recable the ESP/950 with the OCF Alpha cable I have (which was once yours, actually).
  20. Yeah, Birgir rocks!
  21. ~60 year old safety razor, pretty sure it is a '48-'50 Gillette Super Speed, by visual identification.
