I've been staying away from this thread since I have not been riding much at all. Glad everyone is felling better. I ran tonight with a friend for some reason. I did 3 miles which is not bad since it's been a year since I ran last. I hope to ride a bit this weekend.

Cool article Vicki. I got another 18 in this morning with a bit better average pace. It was a perfect, almost no wind, low 70's but pretty humid at 90+%.

You guys are show offs. I got 18 for the week.

Vicki, SunFest is next weekend so not sure I will be riding. Following weekend Gail, Brittnie and I are going to Tampa to see Amy Schumer, so first available will be the following weekend.

I'm out for tomorrow. Gail and I are either kayaking or hiking tomorrow.

Jeff, I'm going to start the negotiation with Gail for some time off that weekend so we can ride. I can probably squeeze onto a 56 with the saddle up and a bit more drop than I am used to. I will also check into the possibility of renting an mtb. Vicki, I was riding E to W so the wind had me down to 14 mph and not being on the bike much in the last month, just wiped me out. Gail is just getting back to biking but after her back issues so she is not ready. Me on the other hand, need to get some miles in. When is the Kirk arriving? DH mtb'ing in Montreal could work. I haven't done any DH'ing in many years but it was a blast.

Just a few. I did discover that Montreal is only 2 hours away. We've never been there.

Did a way harder than it should have been, 18 miles. 15 mph headwind for the first 9 killed me. Nate, I thought I might be close enough to ride with you up there when I'm in Lake Placid at the end of June but, according to google maps, you are 5 hours away. Close but no cigar.

I have long legs and short torso. My Gunnar fits me perfect. Never been more comfy on a bike.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I'm going to measure my bike but I think in the end you will be right.

I have to measure my stem and then figure the size stem I would need for the Calfee to see if it will work. I'm thinking it will be too long. The stem will likely have to be pretty small and I would think that would make the handling twitchy.
