Sorry but I'm with Jp on this one. He has some big expenses coming like a plane ticket to FLA and a Langerado VIP pass. Sometimes exceptions need to be made. Besides, don't you already own every headphone known to man, sorry, know woman.

I sent an offer of $650 to the guy who had a pair listed yesterday. He responded that he had offers of $1,500. There was no way I was paying anywhere near that for them. They are good, but not that good.

I rarely change the volume once set unless someone in the family reminds me that they are studying, etc. I miss my ZD but I don't regret selling it. It was a great headphone amp and preamp but the Woo has given me the same enjoyment while cooling off my room and simplifying my set up.

I believe Vicki is right on this one. He was at Matt's Tampa Mini Meet but I don't believe he was not at any Florida Meet that I attended and the only I missed was before I joined HF.

Vizio 50" Plasma

I caught his show about a year ago at small outdoor venue. He was doing a tour with Susan Tedeschi (wife). I really enjoyed the show. They will be back in the next month or so. The guy plays great slide guitar.

I don't know if Susan will be there. Jp was my only connection to her but I'm guessing she will be there.

It turned out that the Vizio I bought is a Plasma and a newer model from the one you are referring to, I believe. The model before this one had a ps issue that caused what is referred to as "the pop of death". There would be a loud popping sound and the tv would go black. So far the model I bought is not reported to have the problem.

My LCD rear projection has started to go through lamps in a matter of weeks so I am returning the last lamp I am picking up a 50" LCD flat panel tomorrow. I was considering a DLP, which in some respects seems superior in to the other technologies based on the limited reading I've done but in the end I don't want to worry about lamp replacement even if it's only every couple of years. I considered Plasma but have read that they can burn in and fade over time. I'm going to go with a 720p Vizio 50" LCD at Costco. I have no plan to go with an HD-DVD or Blu Ray player so I figured with Comcast HDTV, a 720p should be good enough. At $999 (Friday only) it seems to be an excellent price. Also, Costco gives you a two year warranty.
