Not nearly that crazy but I refused to let someone cut in to the line for an exit once then when she was behind me she stood on the horn for like 3 minutes while we crawled towards the highway (and I had the temerity to leave a car length in front of us) then roared around me and then went from 60-20 2 or 3 times in front of me. Was a scary experience. I forgot to get the license plate.

Sorry Ben I've got too much going on on Saturday and I can't swing that much driving. Going to take my kids to the local farm / pumpkin patch instead. I hope that you have a great time on the ride. Planning on riding Sunday though if you want to come down here. I know that you have a long drive too so no pressure.

I hope it works out for you. Was it a dynamic fit with trackers? I have had that and more recently a old fashioned one. They ended up in the same spot and both recommended 177.5 mm cranks rather than the 175 I run. I may just swing for changing the crank length on the Quarq.

I think I can probably go but now I am having second thoughts seeing as it's 70 miles away.

Sorry Raffy. That's how it goes around here. I think we get in about 2500 on the local shop ride route which is about 30 miles.

Ben does the price change between the routes or over the next couple days? I need to see how tomorrow goes and talk to my wife.

Justin you joined a club? Cool beans. I'm not sure I need a cross bike but there are a few races/rides that sort of need/recommend them (hilly billy roubaix, mountains of misery) around here and there is also the C&O canal trail across from work which could be fun to ride too. Also it would be nice in the winter. I really should have just gotten the cross bike when I bought the MTB because I think I would have used it more.

Yeah he's proposing putting a cross bike for me in with a team order to Giant. That way I get the team prices which is less than he can give me because Giant marks down the wholesale a lot for teams. We'll see but I'm pretty excited. That said I haven't cleared it with my wife. I may need to cancel my Surface Pro 2 order which isn't really a big deal.

Well that didn't work out as I thought and the 256 GB is now pre-order for December 15th. I've placed the order and hope they beat the ship date.

Pretty serious injuries: broken collarbone, ribs and collapsed lung. He's a macho military man so he's being pretty flippant about the whole thing. Not sure how much experience but my guess was this was through his bike shop (he moonlights there sometimes)

Why roadies should not ride mtb: one of my friends was out at a ski resort doing some downhill riding. He gets out of the hospital tomorrow.
