  1. No that's Ticket Master/The organizer being a PITA. After some clicking around I found the Saturday only: http://www.ticketmaster.com/red-bull-global-rallycross-washington-district-of-columbia-08-15-2015/event/15004EBD96272C4D
  2. I took one of the local SCCA courses in the Legacy GT and loved it: http://www.wdcr-scca.org We buying tickets to that Rallycross? I'd probably only go on Saturday.
  3. I was thinking it would be really fun to autocross one (once and a while) and my wife likes the idea of a little sports car with a ragtop (which I do too). We'd probably only drive it once or twice a week but those would be fun drives. The reviews have been very favorable in my quick review and it's cheap. I'm hoping that I fit. The GTI is far more practical for us and would meet many of the needs too but this (for us) starts falling into the "splurge but not insane" realm. Sort of came about after discussing getting a XC90 and realizing we could get a Miata and a Subaru Outback for the total cost (of course not insurance wise).
  4. I assumed that 6'5 would fit. Maybe not.
  5. We are thinking of getting a Miata to be a third vehicle for fun....
  6. Good luck Jacob!
  7. Happy Birthday!

  9. Jeff any interest in going to watch rallycross in August? There is a round at RFK and I am thinking it could be fun.
  10. Nice! Now buy a real cycling computer so we can look at your route!
  11. There is something for TICE in that one....
  12. New power meter pedals have arrived
  13. Sorry to hear Steve. Rip Buggy. We're taking our dog in for a cancer removal on Monday. Fingers crossed the biopsy comes back that it's the least aggressive grade because it's not possible to remove it entirely.
  14. Sorry Jeff. I hope your arguing gets you some satisfaction.
  15. 1) I hope that I never have to get rid of bikes for family peace. We built the garage to get my bikes out of the house. 2) How much are you thinking for the Calfee? Not that I can fit it at all but I am an interested onlooker.
  16. As far as I know you are good to go. I'm sure there are cheaters! You can just ride or you can join people there is a list when you start up. I usually just ride, longest I've managed to ride with a group was about half a lap but I am not in a position to keep up right now and I exploded.
  17. Good luck Jacob
  18. Make sure you check your AC capacitors. That seems to be the first to go in the heat in my experience.
  19. ^ I hope so too. Fuck hornets.
  20. ^ I get most of what little riding I have time to do done on Zwift using the Computrainer. It's pretty good I guess. I'm too slow for the regulars on there so I've never had much luck "riding" with anyone I mostly just pedal around at my own pace and once and a while use someone as a marker/goal to chase.
  21. Or the sonnerie...
  22. Yeah that watch is awesome but list is about 60% more My proposal or Jacob's?
  23. Have a bit of an obsession with Seiko Spring Drive. Becoming a bit obsessed with this:
  24. I have been watching pretty regularly. Stupid recording for stage 14 cut out at 3k.... Not a Froome fan at all and feel in my gut he's doping but he's innocent until proven guilty and I hope they find that fucking Frenchman and put him in jail.
  25. The local autocross schools around here are a blast Jeff
