If we set up regular evenings I will join in other than if I have date nights etc. I am flexible as to game. Edit: it appears Bf1 is not cross platform multiplayer so I would say it's a no-go for me right now. I don't want to have to lug my gaming pc over to the TV or play on a virtual big screen. I may be able to get the hdmi extension to reach though....

Same temperature as last time.

Went for a lovely hour ride today. Took this in front of the George Washington Masonic Monument. I am slow but it feels great to get out.
-
Yeah LG should be high on the list too
-
Brent and I did some nice clean racing in Project Cars for 2 hours last night. We should get a group going again.

If we'll be driving regularly I'm in for Forza.

I think your way of thinking is correct. At this point I can usually taste a piece of beef and tell if she'll like it based on the way it feels and the flavor profile. Luckily for me she's was less picky about who she fell in love with I have always shared my sous vide made meals with her etc so I've never done a truly rare steak at 120 or so like you are proposing, 127 was as low as I've gone and she ate about 3 bites. I generally eat rare at dinners. Maybe I'll try that when she's out of town on a work trip.

Not busting my balls. Have meant to have a discussion of temperatures here anyway Yes 2 degrees. There is a textural difference that seems to occur in the fat breakdown. She notices.
-
I know. It's our compromise, if I drop down to my preferred 127 my wife will not eat it.

Yes tender tender shoe leather

No pics but we had 129 deg 4 hour porterhouse seared in a grill pan and kale salad for dinner. It was awesome.

Random audio related thing for today: I was reading this article about William Eggleston (photographer) http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/17/t-magazine/william-eggleston-photographer-interview-augusten-burroughs.html And I noticed in the video that he appeared to have some rather expensive looking monblocks in the background so I did a quick search and came up with this: http://prorecordingworkshop.lefora.com/reply/46987146/Expensive-speakers-reality-checks-audiophiles-mix-choices#reply-46987146 Pretty neat that his son is EgglestonWorks. I haven't ever gotten to hear any but apparently they are great.

Sia. Holy fuckballs.

The AC user interface is hard to use to the point of being confusing often. As a game/sim that makes it hard to recommend but it is definitely more realistic for me and in theory.

Sounds like a good time but I am hoping prices drop given that description. PCars physics sucks relative to Asseto Corsa.

Attending the DDG1000 Comissioning.
-
Cool. Do you buy the Xbox version and then play pc? I just don't know
-
I have met him on multiple occasions. I doubt I will at that time.

I am going to the DDG 1000 commissioning next weekend. I am excite.

So are we playing tonight? Still waiting on my longer Hdmi cable but with 10 ft cable the repeater worked great with the, oculus. 15 ft cable extension should be enough. Awesome.

Brent and I are negotiating a Project Cars racing evening on Saturday around 10PM EST or later. Anyone else interested? I also just bought a long HDMI cable, HDMI repeater and active USB cable to see if I can get the Oculus to work with a significant cord length for whole room VR since Touch and extra sensors go on sale on Monday... I hope it works because while racing games will still be #1 the whole room walk around VR is just plain cool
-
Well done Brent. I hope for your failure in all endeavors other than parenting.

I owned and measured Qualia I really doubt that

So did you successfully haggle?
