I have only posted meet impressions and they're usually pretty brief. OTOH, I hope that not many would judge deeply based on my opinion.

Greenville, NC is very nice to me. Stay away from the downtown Raleigh area. -
Help! My computer is infected and on it's last limb!

It does not take very much knowledge to perform windows updates, update java when it asks, and not visit sketchy sites without precautions in place. Spybot immunization combined with a scan every now and again is also a very good idea, not sure I would use Internet Explorer to browse either, but that is more of a personal choice. Maintaining PCs has been a pet peeve of mine, someone might have to hit me with a shovel. -

I don't see the point. I don't agree that Windows can be cured by anything through a reinstall that couldn't be cured without it. I kept computers for ten years at the same speed and have had my current laptop for over five and a half now and its only become slower from windows updates which added on more code IMO. Reinstalling isn't going to help that. I'm personally against the format and reinstall method. It doesn't teach you anything about maintenance or repair. I also only use system restore in the case that something I installed causes a malfunction. My favorite programs: CCleaner, Pagedefrag, Bootvis, spybot S&D, hijackthis, CWShredder, killbox, and Spacemonger. Windows tools like msconfig and the msc controls can do most everything else. I also use a special disk called Hiren's boot cd in special cases, but its not particularly legal (though amazingly awesome). More partitions on your boot drive can cause major slowdowns. I use NOD32 for AV because its fast. Turn off services you don't need, run bootvis, do some tweaks, install UPHcleaner, maybe use TweakUI, and you'll be good to go really. Probably should update your drivers, check windows updates, and run secunia software inspector for security for the future. -
I quoted your original post there to try, didn't try the original canjam post. I managed to catch the pic where I think GPH or someone fixed it there though.

Seems like it has to be a prank on me... Its not that its not showing up, there is no code link to the picture in the code. I can't see how the picture would affect the code itself.

There are some good songs in there. Love Ra Ra Riot. Thanks!

Thats awesome! Its a dream I've wanted to make happen for my dad too, it is great to hear it worked out so well. Just don't let him hear your gear now.

Optimize XP Follow these tips, you'll be close to golden. -
I've never had a turning block sealed in wax that was dried yet, I wish. I am wary of waiting for anything dry in sawdust for a month and the baking/microwave tricks are touchy too it seems. Good luck Smeg! My turning skills are weak, but low on my list of things to improve right now.

It seems like it can do many things, such as control the Volumite, rotary encoders, filters on DAC, Darwin, a Display, or any other device that is programmed into the firmware that can be controlled by i2c. It also will use a remote control. So, yeah, like an Uber controller for the TPA DACs and devices. I don't think its a replacement Darwin, just a controller that accepts easy to update firmware to control many devices with a remote control. It was originally designed for the Joshua Tree Attenuator and I think is going through updates so much and firmware work that I don't see it coming out for a while.

Amen, I wouldn't want to pay extra for the headphones. I wouldn't mind knowing what they expect for people with their own STAX, this is definitely interesting. I'd have to try it first and save for a while, but reports are pretty awesome so far.

Here is what it said, looks like they want you to share the ground between them. Now I wonder what I should do if I put my OPUS and Buffalo in the same enclosure and share the ground which is what I plan to do. Would that cause a ground loop? Hoping that a single star ground will be fine.

Believe me, he didn't. I'm not sure Asians are alone in not seeking mental services.

Happy Birthday, I dedicate the drink I have now to you.

Just heard the news about ten minutes ago, feel for those involved. It seems so crazy that it feels like it could have happened anywhere. I really hope to hear good news about those recovering and that this ends soon with no more tragedies, best case being that along with the shooter getting his own bullets put in his gut.

photobucket and flickr are blocked at work for me, even though I use photobucket. No point in not using anything else, if another host were to get popular, that would probably get blocked too. Personally, I like flickr better these days as I don't trust photobucket not to use my pictures as there own advertisements or pay attention to content and management features enough, not to mention its a little unorganized.

I thought the same thing. Sony MDR-XB series (XB for extra bass ), but the bass is said to not be completely horrendous like the bass boost on their CDPs were.
