  1. Yes. I think I have done it myself, so I am very proud of you DH. Ach! Mein eyes!
  2. Nice. The y1 on my T1 sounds pretty decent. Even with larger sized blackgates (ROAR), it could use possibly some more bass extension.
  3. Wish you lots of pounding bass for your birthday!
  4. I kind of want to see someone compare it to the OPUS with the WM8741, granted that is another level of price difference above the Pico, but would be comparative to the difference between the y1 and Pico. Having all three would be a pretty big Wolfson DACfest.
  5. I use twitter. Its not blocked by work and its also a lot less bogged down then facebook, not to mention I don't have to sign up for apps to see what people want me to see. I really don't care for either, but I actually like twitter more for keeping up with friends.

    I'm with you. \
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. I see from your response you know how to read, but not understand. I'm not sure that the welcome PM can help you.
  9. How would I know, I don't know you. I'm sure at head-fi, random people will be happy to tell you what you want. This is NOT head-fi and creating silly threads about stuff you should SEARCH for is not participating. As soon as your found, your very likely spending some time in the Rek's basement. Did you read the welcome PM?
  10. Tucker Max fan?
  11. Shit-fuck. Not cool! I love these phones, just like I love my UE11. Its the small things that kill my buzz though like not sounding balanced between left and right. I can sell these though I would much rather have matched drivers instead.

    Or people who want more.
  13. An SRM-717 may be hitting the market soon, wish I could afford. Sounds like Spritzer knows a way to make a cable that leaches bias so that you can use them with the Sigma.
  14. I dunno man, mine has a slight channel imbalance that only shows up on the stax amp (maybe crosstalk in play) and *when I get noise* I only get it with the stax amp in the left channel. The right channel has never given me problems either. This seems too common for me to quickly pass it off as a coincidence. I'm thinking it might be common to the adapters for Stax amps. The noise continues when I disconnect as well, but I listened for three hours last night and eventually (after about twenty minutes) it was silent on both. I can't find a common factor to create it except the Stax adapter or SRM-T1 and sometimes no problem at all.... this annoys me greatly.

His replies to the comments are pretty good too.
  16. Sorry to hear about your family's loss and wish that I would have raised a glass last evening as well. I'll make up for that tonight.
  17. I have and it did lower the noise some (by almost half). No matter what I do though, it doesn't fully stop even with the wires as far apart as they go. ERS paper to the rescue!

Apparently, this gets around router filtering too. Sweet....
  19. It is only on the left for me as well. It is odd to me that, even with all the other owners, this now seems like it is a common problem.
  20. Happy Birthday!!!!
  21. This is weird. I have the EXACT same experience with my new ESP950! I feel a little vindicated that it is not isolated now at least.
  22. USB powered voice changers (mask reminded me of Darth Vader). Man, that would be fun for online gaming. It seems to me that it would pull the flu right in to your mouth on the right side as those dinky face masks do little to prevent influenza.
  23. Too bad that it only does 24/96 optical or coax out though, so not really much different then M-audio transit as a tranport.

Six for a shade under $100, its still affordable. Picked up two, I'm joining a traveling rodeo this summer (actually traveling technology camp).
  25. Considering they are a bunch of small diced shaped foam blocks that you pick out, it would be hard trimming each tiny block and then reassembling. I bought two for my Stax or Grado this summer.
