6 gb is plenty for me and one gb of that is used for a ram disk for temporary files reducing read write cycles on the ssd. I have never found a legitimate use for more then two cores yet honestly. I wouldn't go above an i7 930 either way, no point with simple overclocking.

More Ram? I kid. But the radeon 6000 series should give you better picture quality I believe. Also, I use mushkin redline 1600 in my i7 and have put the cpu at a fair low overclock to match. Improvements all around.

Your PSU seems good to go, at most you'll need an adapter. You might want to pick up a new optical drive sooner or later. It is true that IDE is defunct now, but there are plenty of cheap IDE to SATA adaptors if needed. You could build a pc to meet your needs with the spare parts for less then a MBP I think and have the ability to keep it running past a warranty on the cheap.

Drove around a bit checking out tornado damage. One missed me by about a mile, damaged the school I work at a bit. Another tore up an area near downtown Raleigh. I'm very grateful that no one I know personally was injured.

The Viewsonic g tablet is already less then $280 for a 10.1 in. dual core tegra 2 android tablet. Its running cyanogen mod too, stable at a 1.6 ghz overclock. Unofficial honeycomb will surely be out soon for it.

Last night was a pretty epic beer day/night, and someone gave me a half bottle of Dewar's 12 year old blended scotch. Sadly, its not so bueno right now.

I don't know if it allows users to add the proper tags after listens, but it would help. There is an enormous amount of classical music and enormous amount of performers playing the same pieces. Even separate pieces being similar to many others in some ways. It seems like that might make a hard task compared to popular more modern music.

I put it on last weekend. It is extremely nice. It is noticeably faster and smoother then even Liberty 1.5 with more features. It has some very nice customization, all kinds of animations including a very cool CRT screen animation, and its blue. It is unrootable so far natively, but you can flash a prerooted version you can find over at mydroidworld.com to help remove any bloatware and prepare for other mods later. Gingerbread is honestly a large step up in almost every way, overclocking it would be practically detrimental. In other news, some multiple fairly reliable sources now say Verizon and several other networks are quickly preparing currently to seriously crack down on all forms of unpaid tethering soon. Be wary. Did you try Soundhound?
