aesthetically i'm not amazed; the uncovered trafo's don't really fit with the rest of the look. the front faceplates are pretty good though and black is always a winner. at least we've got one new big toy for CJ .

Vicki gave me a lead on finding a well-priced retailer for 840's; I e-mailed Northern Sound & Light (located in Pitt) and this morning received a quote for $118.08 on a new pair of Shure's. so this weekend was interesting - friday night i ran a lord of the rings extended marathon at my place, turn-out was great, had more than the 15 people i had estimated. saturday night my roommate's fiance came down from chicago and we had a small group out in downtown peoria doing some barhopping, chasing some rather attractive 22 year old girls and whatnot. sunday morning i wake up with a terribly sore throat and my allergies are worse than ever. 3rd time this semester i've gotten sick, what the fuck.

I've used the same desk/book case combo for about a year now in my bedroom. It's really sturdy, but be extra careful with the desk, the finish is not at all resilient to scratching. Otherwise good choice 'Vark .

my contract law teacher posted exam grades finally. got a 98, i guess studying pays off once in a while. extremely happy, looks like i'll be able to salvage an extra A this semester.
