It was just okay, not as strong in the scotch character or notes as I guess I'd have expected... Then again I've no idea how long (or if) this was barrel aged.

Bought these yesterday at Beers Of The World in Rochester. Added the Nugget Nectar solely because of Emelius.
I like how you can't find Bourbon County Stout anywhere in Chicago, where it's brewed, but multiple stores have cases of the stuff over here (and 2009 vintage nonetheless).
So so very happy to discover that my local place still had some of these in the reserves, albeit with a 1 bottle limit. Also bought a single bottle of Bell's Oberon just because.
