Totally happy with the 6 Plus. Browsing forums is perfect. Easier to manage than an iPad but far more real estate than I had previously. It's weirdly depressing how quickly you adjust to the size and start taking it for granted.

Do not fret my friends... I have discovered a replacement. Chicago's Dog House on Fullerton. Recipe copied with direct input from Doug. Same vendor. Same ingredients. Slightly modified aioli but it tastes as close as you're gonna get. They put a decent amount more Foie Gras on top, to boot. The rest of the board. Mayor Daley and Snoop Dog. And dessert! Deep fried Twinkie.

Let me know if it's good Mikey... Shave #2 today. Three passes on both cheeks and neck. Without a doubt, the best shave I've ever had on my neck area, particularly on the left side where the whiskers grow against the grain and I've never quite been able to get at them properly. It makes me want to fully shave just because it's such a rewarding experience, but I must keep a little facial hair!

Work is really slow today. Let's play with some 18 year olds! Laphroaig 18 (48%) vs. Bunnahabhain 18 (46.3%) vs. Springbank 18 (46%) vs. Longrow 18 (46%) Notes: If I were to rank them, I would probably go Longrow > Laphroaig > Bunnie > Springer. The Longrow was the most memorable and the most drinkable. The Springer was forgettable and I would easily pick the 12 year Cask Strength over it.

Secret admirer of this thread for at least a year now. Put some stuff on my list for the holidays and basically ended up with a rig identical to Mikey's. Merkur, Feather, Taylor of Old Bond, and a Parker badger-fur in Ebony. Shaved with it this morning. First time ever using a safety razor... with the help of solid YouTube instructions I stayed cut free. I think with a few months' experience I'll get my neck shave down. Cheeks are perfect though, no way to improve on this.

Wildly throwing an opinion. Having gone down the path of single driver tower > multi driver bookshelf > multi driver tower > single driver tower I can say that towers are really THE way to go. As long as the footprint is reasonable they are so easy to decouple yet retain the larger "size" of sound I only really hear from a tower (probably because of cabinet interplay). And that is consistent whether it's got one driver or several. For HT, you definitely want large sound. As for a sub, well I didn't really appreciate a solid sub implementation until I heard Mike G's Cicada rig and it sounded fucking perfect. If you need one, cool. But I bet you don't. Oh and that price is awesome. I like the nuanced angles on the front baffle. The Prime's look kind of like PSB Images on steroids.
