Wow and yes, I'll definitely take you up on that (switching to PM). FYI - it was my 500 that I had the issue with. And yes Marshall I'm running a straight post. I've been fit for the bike so in theory position is correct but given the knee pain I was experiencing it may need some tweaking. Basically the back of my knee, at what I would consider the lower hamstring, was killing me by mile 50 in a way that felt very much like cramping. Weird part was that I was well hydrated (pissed twice on the ride) and tried to do everything within my power to stay on top of that throughout the ride. I have nearly zero issues riding ~30 miles, just when I stretch it out longer. I don't think that the seating position/knee issue contributed to the overall ass pain that I was experiencing but I can't rule it out. What may have contributed, now that I think about it, was the 5 or so miles of really rough pavement in the first 20 miles. That certainly didn't help, I know that much. Thankfully the pain didn't last and I wasn't really sore the next day or beyond.

The middle 50 or so sucked hard. I simply hadn't trained enough (under 1k total with nothing over 35) and for reasons I can't explain I've never been so uncomfortable in the saddle. But the last 25 were great, fueled by a strong desire to get off the effing bike and finally finding a pace line that could crank along at 20+. So, lesson learned, train properly or prepare to suffer. Overall we managed a sub 6hr time with a moving average of 16.5mph. Not bad given the climbing. oh, and my garmin died at mile 87.5 which was supremely annoying. I'll have to watch that and see if it becomes a trend.

Yeah, I run a 175. But you should be able to get good money for the 170s especially with the mid-compact 52 big ring.

Rad, let me kno if you pull the DA off that. I'd be interested in everything but the crank.

#notcalfee Still looks nice. I'm targeting an acquisition for the fall potentially, if deals start popping up like they have in years past as the season fades.

Pretty much this. The Pro seems, well, odd, as it now firmly price competes with what I think are much better actual laptops. There are times my existing iPad seems too big for the limited use it has (for me anyway) of essentially being a content consumption, time-wasting device.

Nicely done, Chris! I'm cautiously optimistic that my century this weekend will go ok but nervous that my longest ride this year is only in the mid-30s. I'm trying to concentrate on staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest this week.

Catching up late with this but for those who enjoyed his work I'd highly recommend checking out the last interview that he did for Radiolab. http://www.radiolab.org/story/remembering-oliver-sacks/ Or if you want to experience like I first did have a listen to this - http://www.radiolab.org/story/radiolab-live-telltale-hearts-featuring-oliver-sacks/ - which includes not only the interview but related stories that Radiolab assembled for a live performance.

You'll want a machine shop but the problem is that you'll have a really hard time getting into the cue with such a small job. -

Seems like a good option. I think I've been waffling about this type of decision for years now.. -
My goal in 2016 is to add a mechanical to the stable.

I must be missing something. That Cosmo looks beat to me, particularly the bezel.

FYI - I got a draft notification this morning but clearly I'm not going to be doing any drafting tonight...

I'm still out, go ahead and nuke my team.

The battery drain is suspicious, Jacob, but not having ever had an S6 I can't think of what would be causing it. Have you checked the battery usage info in the system menu (I assume it's there like every other Sammy phone)? Otherwise I'd say that my iPhone has consistently had better battery life than my Android phones when sitting idle - and to a pretty large degree. If I leave my iPhone off the charger overnight when I pick it up the next day it will generally have exactly the same capacity remaining or perhaps have dropped a few %. My S5 would easily lose 10-20% in the same situation. Now, in fairness, I'm sure that some of this is related to the fact that the stupid iPhone cannot accept push emails from Gmail (which is a big frustration w/ the iPhone for me) and therefore only pings the mail server at 15min intervals (or something like that). So it's doing less than the S5 would have been trying to do. Anyway, having had an iPhone for a few months now I'm still firmly in the camp that both OS's offer good things but neither one has hit a home run for me with their current hardware.
