Got a doozy of a nor'easter last night. The coast (me) was mostly spared. Inland NH got upwards of a foot. Reports from Maine are 2'+. I was visiting friends in Manchester last night and knew it was going to be a slow ride home.

Happy Birthday!

Have you ever had the charging system tested? That kind of failure rate sounds like either the battery isn't getting charged properly or there's a slow/parasitic drain on the system when the car is off.

And now Debbie Reynolds. JFC.

Yeah, seemed like the prognosis post-heart attack was ok but alas, 2016 would not be denied.
-
I am utterly underwhelmed by this thread.

Impending inauguration. RIP George

So hungry now. So very, very hungry.

Happy Birthday, Ken!

Did you shed a tear for the loss of your headphone jack? Too soon?

Can someone post the event hotel details. I'd like to at least book a room with the hopes of finding a way to get down there.

RIP Dr. Heimlich. A lifesaver for sure, but also a pretty weird dude. http://www.radiolab.org/story/273532-heimlich/

Every year the school has kids bring in cookies for the teachers. We buck the trend and send in biscotti.

Jeff, I can't imagine pumping up a regular MTB tire with a frame/bag-sized pump. CO2 all day, everyday.

Not too messy, I hope. Delicious, yes. I let the scones cool before applying the drizzle and then let the whole mess cool before storing. I'll find out how messy tomorrow when the 5 and 8yr old attack.

Ahh, gotcha. Glad to hear there were no signs of a sinister motive. There's been a decent amount of petty crime in NH recently. Nothing really close to us but more than you like to hear about.
-
Still not a good sign though, right? Dodging a bullet still means you got shot at.
-
Condolences and many RIPs.

Seriously, this cannot be understated. I'm the only of my siblings to not go to an ivy but I'm also the most financially stable, thanks largely to the fact that I graduated debt free. My older brother and younger sister both graduated with mid-level debt (for the time, some 20yrs ago) and while they both do well for themselves I've had a whole lot less financial stress in my life.

Thanks, I was on my way to address it.

This. So much this.

Fuck, Steve, that sucks. Here's to hoping for the best outcome at this point.

I read most, but I'm half asleep having been up since 4 and spending most of the day on planes and in the car. So if you had Other Half in there, 1,000 apologies my friend. EDIT - JFC, how did I miss the whole paragraph about it? I should not operate heavy machinery for the remainder of the evening.
