Might be worth buying a cheap brake if you think you're going to do it even infrequently and have the space. Otherwise you can turn just about any table into a brake if you're willing to fasten something down to it and do the bending with your hands. Or do this - http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Sheet-Metal-Brake-No-Welding/.

RIP Bill, that's a tragic way to go.

This. Those pics are straight out of something like the Walking Dead.

CJ, If the wall is already made of wood you don't need blocking to support the TV. Just use a stud finder (cue Steve) and go from there. Every wall mount I've seen allows for the variable spacing of wall studs. As far as in-wall/ceiling is concerned I wouldn't worry about Atmos but I'd make sure you've got full 7.1/2 if you can. Wiring is a huge pain, but worth the effort if you can. My rather meager setup in the new living room (Polk Audio in-wall and ceiling, Yamaha receiver) is totally adequate as far as my expectations go. Sir Stretchy also did in-wall in his new digs but opted to go big L/R and simulated center based on the advice of folks likely a lot smarter than me. Lastly, yes, definitely use boxes for the speakers. Or at least I did based on my research.

Fired up the smoker today while working on the deck. The ribs came out great (there were 4 sets like this is total) and the deck isn't looking too shabby. Still have the other half of the railing to do but now that we've got it figure out it should go pretty quickly.

I think Jeff does... my 2c is that you already own the MBP so I'd definitely try it first and it's unlikely that it'd run any better on a super-cheap Dell. It's all going to come down to graphics performance vs. what you expect. If you're ok with not running the settings at Ultra odds are good it'll be just fine. Macs have come a long way with their onboard graphics, especially the MBPs and now use chipsets similar (if not the same) as their Win counterparts.

Appetizers while orange chicken cooks in the oven. Bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed jalepeno peppers. A friend has been dropping off a half dozen or so for a few weeks and this has become a staple.

The rumor surrounding climbkhana is that he almost ate it around that corner. Certainly looks to be pushing it rather close to the perilous edge.

They're in sheets, rest easy Greg.

That is looking great, Steve and Doug!

Great to see you too, Steve.

You suffer it well, my friend.

Thanks for the reminder, Al, I really need to clean mine. My dads Webber had a grease fire when we used it a couple of weeks ago and we had to use a fire extinguisher on it.

Thanks guys, it was very good, better than the first one for sure. I let it get to a solid 205 internal before pulling it. Didn't have quite enough rest time but that didn't seem to impact things negatively either. I guess that I am going to have to get up earlier next time, which is unfortunately but on some level I'm happy to suffer for the craft.

Happy birthday tall man. I'm hoping our paths cross again sometime soon.

Nice! I prepped a brisket for the smoker tomorrow. Still no magic pink paper (lack of planning -10pts) but still should be "decent".

Interesting.

Dan, Looks good, what's the recipe (or just "some stuff").
