  2. Soooooooo hungry!
  3. Me too. Also, I think calling something popular since the mid-2010s is insane since that was like, last year. And thank god penmarker was able to keep up his streak of never failing to recommend five pairs of the same headphone which are exceptional at making you deaf.
  4. 1. Thread moved, as suggested by Doug. 2. Listen to Doug's advice.
  5. Happy Holidays everyone! Here's to hoping for a safe, happy, and restful season and a better start to 2018. The Great Pumpkin can't get any worse, right?
  6. I'd be happy to. We've gotten about 6" already and it's still snowing hard.
  7. Happy Birthday, Ric!!
  8. Spent an hour and a half scraping ice off of the driveway after the storm late last week. Now we're forecast to get 6" to 9" as a Christmas gift which wouldn't be so bad if we weren't supposed to travel tomorrow afternoon. Here's to hoping it's over by noon, as predicted.
  9. Happy Birthday, Ken!
  10. I think you're both basically right. I don't think dual TRS is the goal and Al is correct, those are Neutrik combo jacks that allow for both TRS plugs and 3-pin XLRs. The front panel says L/SE and R/SE below those two jacks. And the 4-pin XLR jack is labeled balanced.
  11. Rest in Peace, Reggie Osse, aka Combat Jack, producer of one of my favorite podcasts of 2017 - https://gimletmedia.com/mogul/. Fuck cancer. https://www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2017/12/20/572256493/reggie-combat-jack-oss-hip-hop-journalist-and-podcaster-dies-at-53
  12. This.
  13. The brisket fairy says salt and pepper only, plus some fanciness with spraying it down every hour while cooking. Helps to develop a nice bark. I usually use brown sugar rubs on ribs.
  14. Rub or no rub? From the look of that cut I would have trimmed quite a bit more fat off the top.
  15. That thing is seriously sweet, Jeff.
  16. Chili has been in the crockpot for 8hrs, just whipped up a batch of cast iron skillet corn bread to accompany it shortly.
  17. Breakfast.
  18. Time for one-pan breakfast. First sausage Then pohtaytoes Then eggs, with sausage mixed in
  19. Something tells me that they treat you a little differently than they treat customers with a less established or consistent ordering history. Back when I used to regularly order they'd get stuff out on the same day if I ordered in the morning (EST) and rarely it would take until the next business day.
  20. Revisited an old favorite tonight - baked enchiladas w/ homemade verde sauce.
  21. Looks similar in parts of New England this morning. We got around 5" which normally wouldn't be any big deal. But my tractor is in for service which means I get to shovel the 150' driveway by hand.
  22. No R1200RS love, Jeff? If you're not hitting any dirt I don't get the appeal of an adventure bike since, as you noted, they tend to be overly tall. I assumed since that was the vein you appeared to be going down that you wanted/needed the suspension travel. But if pavement-only works, I'd revisit both BMW and maybe even Ducati. There are probably others to look at and ride, but I generally lust hardest for those two unless you've got a local Aprilia dealer...
  23. And so it begins...
  24. Excellent news, Jacob!
  25. Happy Birthday Todd!
