I reterminated my 340s last night to try and fix some of the butchery that was done by the previous modder who saw fit to terminate them with an 1/8" plug. Turns our they are wired with stranded silver, yikes that couldn't have been a cheap cable even though it looks like poop.

Eh, not really the place for it but since there was a good deal of discussion on it in this thread it seemed like the Headcase place for it, this is the first HD300 I've seen come up for sale in a long, long time and looks like it might be worth buying just for the tubes.

Congrats on the new phones man, since it's pretty likely that these phones were ignored by Jpak you might want to give the electrets some time to charge up. I think someone once told me that it can take an hour or more for them to get back up to proper operating levels but I don't really know if there's much truth in that. Can't hurt though, right?
