I don't think there's much magic to it, you just need to have real candle wick to make it work. Just soaking string in wax to impregnate it with fuel won't work very well. Otherwise it's just find a vessel, heat wax and pour around wick. My mom used to recycle candles.

What else should I say? My opinion of you, based on observed behavior (that you clearly don't agree with) is that generally when you start an argument you have no point. So why would I continue to argue with you? You've already called me gay, so we're clearly past the point of reason, and consequently why would I think anything meaningful as far as debate is concerned would come about after that?

Maybe I'm not understanding the nature of the pad reversal, how were they "reversed"? L to R? Front to Back? They look pretty symmetrical to me so it just isn't clear how that would make a difference.

It's one of the big reasons to avoid LCD HDTV's. Most manufacturers accept that there may be multiple bad pixels in a given display and will not warranty them as defective. At least my Sony, which uses three small LCDs simultaneously is more forgiving since if one color goes bad it'll be masked by the other two.
