They're going to have to renumber the car. I think it speaks volumes about how hard it is to achieve those speeds that he hit 240 at the half and only gained another 60mph in the last half mile.

Aumkar, welcome to the forum. I went ahead and tagged you as a Member of the Trade and gave you a custom title to better identify you to the members as a representative of your company. Enjoy your time here and best of luck with the launch of your headphones.

^^^ Ugh, thanks for the reminder. I still need to do our taxes. Odds are I will not end up on the winning side.

@Hopstretch and @morphsci - the Google suggests that we should be watching Netflix's, Love Death and Robots.

Have not watched The Expanse, will now start. Altered Carbon was throughly enjoyable.

I'm invoking executive privilege - changed.

This thread has gone entirely too quiet. 3lb pork shoulder went in the smoker late last night. Hit 160 at 9 this morning and it's now wrapped/crutched and headed for 205. Looking forward to dinner.

Protip3: See if you can download and pre-fill any forms. Saves the hassle of pen and ink.

I feel your pain, Doug. I had to update my license earlier in the month, the paper work could be filled out online, but I still had to show up at the DMV and wait an hour and a half in line to basically have my picture taken. i then had to wait three weeks to receive the license in the mail.

Cut that shit out. I've had quite enough of that at home.

No worries, gents. The thought is still appreciated!

Honestly, I've abused the heck out of my Toro. I've made it clear just about everything, from heavy wet snow to ice crusted junk. It has its limits, don't get me wrong, but for the price it is impossibly good. I think the most insane thing I've done with it is clear 3 or 4 storms worth of snow off the deck (some 30"). It took a while, and I had to attack it in layers, but was still way easier than actually shoveling. And it's currently snowing outside, so odds are good that I'll start tomorrow by using some variety of snow removal devices.

Thanks everyone, it was a great day.

This would seem to warrant a "pics or ban" sort of comment, but let's not get all stalkery. Serious suggestion, in addition to Jeff's excellent recommendation I'd have a look at something like this - https://www.amazon.com/Earthwise-SN70016-Electric-Corded-Shovel/dp/B073V482GY/ref=pd_cp_86_1?pd_rd_w=ccxxo&pf_rd_p=ef4dc990-a9ca-4945-ae0b-f8d549198ed6&pf_rd_r=8NWC5BQA6354XCBW7BDA&pd_rd_r=f47fe814-3d03-11e9-aaa6-cf0e18ac2bd6&pd_rd_wg=KpYhO&pd_rd_i=B073V482GY&psc=1&refRID=8NWC5BQA6354XCBW7BDA - I bought the Toro version 6 years or so ago and it's paid for itself more times than I can count. In a pinch I've used it to clear several inches of snow off of the whole driveway (175' long, many extension cords used...) and it's a back saver for clearing decks. And we're in roughly the same boat as Todd. It's snowing currently but only predicted to drop an inch or so but then there's ~6" predicted for tomorrow night, depending on who you believe.
