I repeated what you said to prove a point Billy. You've made such a habit of just dropping in to stir up shit and not offer any meaningful advice that people have pretty much started to ignore what you say, even when it is helpful. Me, I'm glad to see you start posting a bit more seriously since you've had experience with a lot of gear but it's probably going to take some time before people take notice.
This might serve as a good example Billy of the fact that you have a tendency to spew so much bullshit that people don't bother reading your posts. Just a thought.
Very easy, you can use the numeric keys to skip through the alphabet to the letter that you want and then it scrolls pretty quickly. I'm still trying to put together a little mini-meet with Voodoochile sometime in the next month or so, if I get it set up I'll see if you're around.
The real reason is so that you don't have to have your laptop wherever you're listening to music. Comparing an SB3 to AEX isn't really an apples to apples comparison.
It was never an issue for me but I could see how it would be for some people.
You should see if you can hunt down one of the HeadFest LOD's, there have to be a ton out there and they sound more in line with what you're looking for.
I disagree, as an engineer I see nothing inherently superior in PTP and more often than not it's not done well resulting in a product far more likely to fail or have issues.
Pffft. F Netflix and Blockbuster, get thee a rapidshare account and you can get near DVD quality material all day long, often before it's commercial release. I'll be watching Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End this weekend, try finding that at Blockbuster. Not that they ever have any good movies in stock and not that POC will be any good.
I believe the technical term is a "shit load". I think it's typically more expensive than the chassis itself.
Here's the thing, all chassis makers are a compromise of some sort, you can get any two of the following: quick, cheap, atractive, never all three.
No worries about sharing, ordered a couple of cases, took about a month to get them.
But Grawk is right, the Ebay vendor, if you can find what you're looking for, is much, much quicker.
Hmm, I've done ok buying direct from Par Metals. It wasn't a great experience but wasn't as bad as what I'm hearing from others.
Bottom line Deepak, the finish on the Par chassis is never going to be anywhere near a professional chassis that an electronics company would use. There's a reason that they are the cheapest large format chassis you can buy.
It's short for, seldomly used portable device that must be cheap and functional. I have gotten away from using my Ipod daily, heck some weeks I don't use it, so dropping 2.5x on a new one made no sense.
