  1. Ken, I'm pretty sure Ed ordered them direct from Sennnheiser. They actually sell quite a few parts through their website, you just have to dig a bit.
  2. Yikes. I wonder what the projected life of the output is given they're that worried about continuous operation.
  3. I haven't, but I have stuff setup right now to do a couple of transport, source comparisons so I'll get on that. I'd wager that what you read was something about the SB3 being a pretty average stand-alone source, I don't really ever remember talking about it as a transport.
  4. The only issue that I've had is that people don't leave feedback. I've purchased two things and sold another and none of the 3 has left feedback when it was done. To the best of my knowledge all of the transactions went off without issue so I must have bad luck with that.
  5. I agree, completely.
  6. Kinda like when 5 posts become 0 posts?
  7. I took the comment to mean from an aesthetic perspective, not design.
  8. Ti Kan (aka amb) would probably disagree with you there... [img width=150 height=113 alt=lambda1]http://www.head-case.org/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1093&g2_serialNumber=2&g2_GALLERYSID=b5c4521aab7af493b594825a453441c0
  9. Agreed, his work is phenomenal.
  10. I'm pretty sure that Justin has no desire to me mistaken for Pass Labs.
  11. Nah, the Thorens isn't going anywhere.
  12. I like both of mine, that's for sure. And you can adjust the font size to be more viewable if you're sitting kind of far away.
  13. The next post outta you in this thread better be a picture like this...
  14. Hey, I resemble that remark!
  15. Merry Xmas to me. HP 410B VTVM
  16. sofa king sweet!
  17. Peter, I assume that you're not looking to have any high-res DVD capability, right? I started my search for a new DVD player recently and I'm pretty torn between the Oppo 981HD which should make regular DVD's look great on my HD TV or Toshiba's HD-A3 which might not look as good with standard DVD's but carries the bonus of HD DVD playback. Given that I rent most of the DVD's that I watch it doesn't make any sense to go Blu-Ray and all of those players are more expensive to boot.
  18. Home already, not drunk, have to work tomorrow.
  19. Agree, 100%, it kills what is otherwise a pretty cool watch. For me at least.
  20. I'm curious how it effects soundstage, that seems like an interesting variable to be able to control.
  21. pics or it didn't happen
  22. Silly, it's his favorite, Pink. The alliteration of the Pretty Pink Pico drove him crazy, he had to have it.
