Yes, yes we are, relatively speaking.

Made what is likely simply as aesthetic upgrade to the Menace TC - replaced the naked Antec . Funny to be tinkering with it 11 years after building it. Old Naked Triad (edit, because I can't remember shit)

Did you tell it that it puts the lotion in the basket or else it gets the hose again?

Seems like it might be, dare I say, too much? Even if the price is right, if it's way more than required and causes complications like housing it may not be a good deal.

I'd be hard pressed to think there's a huge difference between streaming services. I'm pretty happy with Tidal so far, ask me again when/if I start paying $20/mo for it. My office rig is good enough (I guess) that I can tell every time that Tidal switches to Normal from Hifi due to either random network issues or some other cause. So whatever is the final solution will certainly need to provide decent quality, I'm not going back to basic Pandora or You Tube for full time listening. -
I hope you mean the 2.5, not the 12.0, if it's latter way to go full HC on that sumbitch. I'm not sure I go through enough coffee to justify two pounds a month, so I'm struggling to commit a bit and am reviewing my purchase history with OBR currently to try to determine conclusively.

I'm looking for some help/advice on replacing the primary choke in the Menace TC power supply. It's currently an open frame Triad, model C14X (6H/200mA/150ohm) and I'd like something that better matches the electraprint output transformers from an aesthetic perspective. The logical answer is a Hammond something from the 193 series of enclosed/potted chokes and the closest that I can find is the 193H (5H/200mA/63ohm) but that's obviously not that close with both resistance and inductance being different. I'm wondering if the 193J wouldn't be the better choice as more filtering and less voltage drop shouldn't upset things too much. I don't have the ability any more to model this so I'm looking to the folks here to help sanity check my choice. I looked around for other possible alternates and I'm not seeing much short of simply having Electraprint build one, which doesn't looking all that expensive.

I still use the same recipe, except the kids are now more likely to make it and drink it all before I get to it.

That assumes that I eventually get the 'vide cooker that I've had for over a year up and running. It's still in the box in storage... ME FAIL.

Nice Brent! I've got a frozen pork shoulder that I really need to thaw out and smoke next weekend.

I think that we're nearing the day of an integrated traditional watch with truly essential smart functions. I just need notifications on my wrist, I don't need or want to make calls or take the battery life hit that it brings. I get that there is a market for that, I'm just not it. I know I'm a broken record but until Apple gets me a week of run time without a charger I'm not a buyer. I charge my Garmin so infrequently I hardly think about it. I don't want another daily or every other day charging ritual. If we some how get a bonus this year it'll likely go into upgrading the Fenix as the HR function has started to get flaky and while wearing a chest strap works, it's inconvenient and i'm not doing it all day.

That's quite the bike computer you have there, Greg. Seriously though, watch out riding in temps that hot. I've almost cooked myself a few times and once definitely pushed it way too far and overheated pretty badly. Currently not a concern here in the spring will not show up get over it North East, it's 50 and rainy.

Please, please don't but anything that isn't a smart trainer. I hated riding on the trainer until I got my TACX Flow. Not too much more than you're looking to spend ($370) and just so much better an experience and something that I'll likely use it even during the good weather months when time simply doesn't permit riding outdoors. And I should have offered this stuff here I guess, but I've basically got all of the parts stripped off of the Calfee which includes a mostly complete (no chain, no cassette) Dura-Ace 7800 group, S-works carbon cockpit (stem, bars), and some other misc. bits. Got a favorite chile crisp recipe that you want to share?

Thankfully we got a lot less than predicted. It changed over to rain before noon and there's no sign of it now. Still, we've gotten a ton of rain over the last 3 weeks which makes it hard for kids that are already feeling cooped up. The woods are a mess too, with areas that I've never seen wet full of puddles. Next week 4/5 days are predicted to have rain. The lawn is going gangbusters.

I took Dan up on his kind offer, having my second cup now, it's terrific.

Yup, snowing here today as well with expected totals in the 2-3" range. What a giant crock of crap.
