  1. Any reason other than your personal inconvenience that they wouldn't just look at it and send it off to apple for repair? I mean there's nothing in the sales agreement that says they have to give you a new phone, right? Granted, it'd suck pretty hard to be without your phone for the weeks that it takes to get repaired but they would probably be justified in taking that route.
  2. I'd suggest trying any of the UPOCC copper wire that you can find, should run less than $2/ft and is among the best I've heard. And you certainly don't need 18ga anything for IC's or more than one conductor for each of the signal components.
  3. Just a minor error (easy to do) but would not have been fun to fix after the fact. Seeing that JB's my homeboy I wanted to save him the trouble.
  4. No, but it'd be a pretty bad f'ing end to the day if he put power to any of those boards.
  5. JB, check your PM's now, it's very important.
  6. [cartman]Sweet![/c]
  7. What's my number?!?!
  8. I really enjoy the Live Ireland station. When I had the SB1 at my soldering rig (which I miss fiercely) I would often listen to that while working.
  9. And others would rant that equipment built like that is gorgeous in its own right and that not everything needs to be farkled to death. I take it that the Vaughn Audio aesthetic is less than pleasing to your eyes?
  10. Mom came down to visit today, so I just finished some wonderful homemade peach cobbler. Yum!
  11. Nice! looks around for his commission...
  12. Nah, at that point I'd be so money/power hungry I'd mine every last dime out of the consumer that I could.
  13. I still refuse to buy the software upgrade.
  14. I just wanted to say "shenanigans".
  15. Multiple account gear flipping shenanigans IIRC.
  16. No. Consider yourself on notice.
  17. Patience, patience. There's a slowly developing plan regarding long-term stat amplification.
  18. Wuhoo, got my Koss to Stax adapter today so I'll finally get to fire up the 950s off of the SRD7 tonight.
  19. Maybe something a bit off the beaten path. Vaughn Audio | High Performance Vacuum Tube Audio [EDIT]no relation to VVA by the way.
  20. Sort of, especially considering that I was under the impression that this was the power supply. Doesn't look like anything particularly special and I can't imagine it's got much reserve capacitance. And I'm with you, it's not like he's strapped for real estate in the chassis so why he'd do this is beyond me.
  21. Kevin, If those 4x1000uF caps at the back are the output coupling caps that you're referencing am I correct in seeing that this thing has no local power supply capacitance?
  22. n_maher replied to JBLoudG20's topic in Headphones
It could go either way, I'll remain cautiously optimistic for now.
  23. Welcome to my world. Oh and on the home front I got 60% of another 2 beta22 boards done last night.
