One got listed on Head-Fi, so I jumped. As far as I now the next batch won't be available for a month or more which made the decision all the more easy. I don't have time to sit around refreshing a web page trying to get an order in for something that I really don't need. This was stress free and easy, just how I like it.

I think that all of the outputs are routed to the 4 channel passive mixer (just to the right of the GPS) and I'm guessing that he has a cable going from that terminated with a female mini so that when he gets off the bike he doesn't unplug anything from the mixer.

For most of us motorcyclists it's a big gray area. Most of us refuse to ride without hearing protection (those of us who value our hearing anyway) since ambient noise levels, especially at highway speeds, are significant. Also, studies have shown that road noise contributes to fatigue which is something that affects motorcycle riders a lot more than cage drivers. Couple all that with the idea that "helmet speakers" aren't illegal (as far as I know) and IEMs seem no worse than what a lot of other people are doing anyway. I've been pulled over before wearing IEMs and the officer didn't say a thing about them.

1. The Bithead is a good value, especially if you can find one used. 2. The Go-Vibe Petite + DAC, I use the DAC only version of this at work and it's a passable soundcard. 3. The IBasso D2 Boa - no direct experience with this so YMMV There are no good DIY options that come to mind, or better put ones that you're likely to be able to find in a reasonable time frame.

I'd say some of these asshats are due for some kneecap breakage.

It's a DVR setting to automatically record all of a show's new episodes. So if I'd setup the appropriate Season's Pass all new Episodes of Chuck would be automatically recorded for me.

Me = fail, forgot to set up a season's pass for it. Thankfully it's available through the usual avenues so I can watch it tonight. I had to settle for watching last year's season finale.

Can't say that I disagree with you there but it's swung badly in both directions with both the consumer and lender ignoring everything.

I can't help but think that there's still (at least) one big shoe to drop in all of this, Credit Card debt. Depending on what data you believe the average American household carries somewhere between $8,000 - $10,000 in revolving debt. My wife and I have always made it a priority to carry $0 revolving debt. We don't put anything on a credit card we can't pay for immediately. I get the distinct impression that we are in a very small minority. And once again a fair portion of the blame lies with what is essentially predatory lending practices. I carry only two credit cards (Discover and Visa) and between the two of them I probably have ~$50,000 in "credit". That seems outrageous to me. My wife and I both make a decent living and probably fall just a bit above the middle of the middle class but it's absolutely inconceivable that we could afford that kind of debt. Granted, there has to be some level of personal responsibility that kicks in and keeps you from being an idiot but giving someone that much rope doesn't sit well with me. Ugh, I hate thinking about this shit.

I believe that Ken was contacted because the post he was reporting had already been reported multiple times. I've never been reprimanded for reporting posts and I've probably reported a hundred or more. It's the only way they can keep track of things, there's no way they can read every post.

Did you try reporting any of the posts you think are outside the lines deepak?
