  1. I thought you were building another garage?

  3. Seems wise to wait. Me: Had epic fun mountain biking with some friends yesterday afternoon after bailing on work (was supposed to be off all day but...) with near perfect fall riding conditions - sunshine, 50F, light winds. We got out for a solid two hours of punishment in the local boulder field that has some pretty amazing features, most of which I actually rode. Today: will largely be spent watching it rain/snow. It's been raining hard for the last two hours already and is just getting started (allegedly). The weather people have played their 2020 cards and are claiming we could get between 2 and 12" of snow as it changes over this afternoon. Given that we're still in near-drought conditions it's good to see precipitation of any kind but sucks to go from dried up death to flash flood warnings. Buckle up buttercup, the year from hell isn't over yet...
  4. I meant to say something earlier, but if you let me know what size piece of glass I can see if it'd fit in the laser and we could have a go at etching your logo into it for enhanced fancy.
  5. I'd say router, so that you can put a finished edge on any of the exposed pieces of wood. Which really means that you need both a router and a bunch of router bits. I'm with Naaman, baltic-birch.
  6. I was thinking this and one does look a little domed in some of the pictures.
  7. Agreed, but this was at 350F and it was at 172 internal before I got it off the grill. Not horribly high, but the hope was to pull it at no more than 165 since it would continue to rise a bit.
  8. Happiest of birthdays, Bryan!
  9. Did a bone-in turkey breast on the Traeger today because life required more turkey. I cooked it just a little long (was not at home when the temp probe fired) and it was still moist and juicy on the inside.
  10. Success! The Loadout (went highish-end again this year, because d-_-b) Should be ok by Xmas
  11. How unflat? It wouldn't be all that surprising to find a wall 1/8" out of flat in say 4' or so but not more than that.
  12. I procured some but not all of the necessary supplies yesterday, I'll address remaining requirements tomorrow.
  13. This thread needs more bread. Annual "roll making" complete. Far from perfect but they'll do.
  14. Agreed, even the half batch that I did last year was on the side of too much.
  15. Same - if nothing else it's a good excuse to stock the liquor cabinet for winter.
  16. NFLO
  17. I would not bet against this man.
  18. Too hungry, no pics, was delicious.
  19. Unpictured (maybe later) - pulled pork went on the smoker a little before noon and has been stuck in a cooler until dinner time. Mac and cheese just went in the oven.
  20. x3
  21. ^^ Agreed, that would make for a nice pattern and will be easier to do than an X.
  22. Even if it doesn't immediately rack, it probably will over time. Like Steve suggested originally, I'd recommend a diagonal or x-brace for stiffness. Either that or gusset the corners significantly.
  23. Yesterday - hung out with the local riff raff. Given the size, likely a male. He hung around in that tree for a couple hours before moving on. Was pretty impressive to see.
  24. Happy Birthday Nums!
  25. You had me at, I made dough. WANT!
