I don't think either of the two reviews that I wrote made use of number scales and both were read by at least a few folks. Of course I think they both have bitten the dust now (can't find them on HF, both were in the "reviews" sub-forum that no longer exists) so I can't verify that but I figured it was worth mentioning.

Except that he told me a year ago the only reason he didn't have the working prototype at CanJam was that he was waiting on were custom trafos from Plitron.

He's almost always done introductory pricing, in fact I can't remember I time when he did not. But the odd thing here is that in the past any time Ray has posted an announcement thread he's had product on hand to ship immediately, even with the B52 (again if my memory serves me correctly). [edit]after further thought this might not be correct[/edit] So in this instance to announce things saying that he would be posting a price and internal pics soon and then to have not posted in that thread for two weeks now seems rather out of character and not in keeping with the original announcement. The 3 month lead time, well I just don't know what to make of that other than to say it doesn't seem like Ray's SOP.

I'd say odds are good that I won't need both. After they arrive and I've had a chance to check the Touch's run time with one I'll let you know. Or bug me in a couple weeks since my memory is like a sieve these days.
