What did you do today?
Actually, they just create work for you when I get sued. It's pretty amazing no one was hurt and that significant damage wasn't done yesterday. It's been a bad week for contractors so far, today was another doozy. You are not the first to propose the "teeter totter" solution. Unfortunately that is not a code-approved approach nor can I use good engineering judgment to justify it.

What did you do today?
Glad to hear that Mike, enjoy the Pappy and JH's. I'm stuck writing reports for inept contractors who do not understand that in order for a beam to work it must have a column (or other means of support) at both ends.

A Switcher for A/B'ing Headphone Amps?
If I were to recommend anything I'd make sure it was rated as a speaker switch to make sure it could handle the potential voltage/current.

A Switcher for A/B'ing Headphone Amps?
This idea has always made me nervous what with the twitchy nature of switches and the devastating affect that shorting the output of an amp can have.

HD800? Another rumor?
I believe that we will have an opportunity soon to at least audition the HD800s with some decent amplification, too bad there won't be 2 pairs there.

Reterminating Grados for Balanced Use
It's been my experience that 90% of Grados are Red=Left, White=Right, Blue=Ground. Which ground is which is pretty easy to determine once they have been separated.

2399 Tube
From what I recall some 2399's (not sure if all?) use the same plates as the 5998 but otherwise the differences are unknown to me.
