It hadn't snowed for over 2hrs so I decided to take care of clearing the driveway. I've been inside for 10 minutes, it's now snowing like a bastard again.

Not in my neck of the woods, but I have been out of the office since Wednesday. My mail lady was nice enough today to drive the mail up the driveway and put it inside the garage. I her. In bullshit weather news it's now winds as a mf'er here in NH. Tomorrow's forecast includes gusts up to 50mph. Yay.

It's currently hovering right around 32F here and has been lightly snowing since I got up at 6:30. We've gotten maybe 3" so far with the threat of at least double that by tomorrow.

The model # is CA17303D, it's sold under many different brand names. The auction clearly said "Free shipping in the lower 48" but the invoice I received had shipping on it. So I've contacted the seller, we'll see what they say. The shipping is pretty reasonable and the winning bid was pretty good so it may be a case where I pay it even though I technically shouldn't have to.

Other than the write speed seeming a bit slow it wrote to my FAT32 formatted flash drive just fine. And I double checked and I'm running 10.6.2.

I installed it today and have a flash drive with me, I'll see if I have the bug too.

Just the plain 3G here and I've also read reports that the GS is much better in terms of call volume. But I have no desire to be beholden to AT&T for two years since I'm not under contract right now so a new iPhone is not something I'm considering. P.s. I also hate the fact that Apple pulled a switcheroo and now you can only manage your music on one computer even if the iTunes account is the same on multiple machines. That makes it just about impossible for me to do what I want to do with the iPhone as a music player which kills about 50% of its functionality.

Not for me, call volumes are too low to be heard just about everywhere except near silent conditions. Honestly, it's a struggle to use it in the car and the speakerphone section is even worse. And yes, I've tried it without the case on it to see if that is hurting the volume and that doesn't help. Coverage around me blowing chunks is certainly a contributing factor as well.
