  1. No balanced output, single ended only. But it'll take SE or Bal inputs.
  2. I may have another interesting little JH13 option soon...
  3. Thanks Marshall, I'll keep an eye on that but would really like to find one that can at least go to 25V. What would qualify as "reasonable"?
  4. I suppose tracking isn't 100% necessary, I was just hoping that it would allow for the supply to maintain a balanced + and - rail but if it's a stable supply that isn't really a concern. I did some more digging this morning and I think this is what I'm looking for, just a bit on the expensive side of what I'd want to spend. MASTECH VARIABLE DC POWER SUPPLY (HY3003F-3) 0-30V/0-3A - eBay (item 380190160888 end time Dec-30-09 14:42:05 PST)
  5. I would really appreciate some assistance finding a good, dual, tracking supply. This thread seemed like the right place to ask. Basically, what I need is a supply that I can use to troubleshoot and repair the beta22 channels that I have as well as some other projects that I'm working on so the minimum requirements are 0-30V, .5A (on both the + and - rails) and I certainly wouldn't complain about additional power or features. Budget is somewhat flexible, not looking to spend a ton, but I do like nice tools. I'd pick one on my own but I've been getting mixed reports about supplies that are stated to be "dual" that really just have two outputs and can't to + and - rails.
  6. Happy Birthday!
  7. Trust me, jail would have been preferable.
  8. Happy Birthday GPH!
  9. Traveled 4.5hrs with a 18mo old who wanted no part of it. Not fun, but I'm finally home, Lily is a asleep and I shall shortly remedy the situation with a wee dram.
  10. I don't think justin said or implied anything about the future of the GS-1 or GS-X.
  11. Happy Birthday Ken!
  12. You know it! Enjoying a mojito in the room now as Lily falls asleep. Tomorrow promises more of the same.
  13. Acted like a 12 yr old. Spent the day riding water slides and various tube rides at the water park here at Atlantis. I love being a kid.
  14. Dude, I told you about this in an email some 2 weeks ago.
  15. Yup, she's taking a nap right now and mom is out working on her tan since I volunteered to take first shift. My little sister is getting married down here on Tuesday so we decided to make a week of it. Given the weather at home (12" of white bullshit) I'm not sad.
  16. 6 days of wireless access. Head-case, Bahamas edition begins.
  17. Snow, what snow? It's 75 and sunny where I am. Y'all are in the wrong spot. I guess we were pretty lucky to get out of Logan at all yesterday which finally happened just after I posted yesterday. I'm completely ignoring what my driveway probably looks like right now...
  18. Been sitting at the airport for 3 hrs since our flight crew was delayed out of DC. If we board before 11 I'll be psyched.
  19. It's the one size fits all approach that has me doubting. I'm sure that it could be designed to work well, but with any amp?
  20. I'm not technically proficient enough to be able to say for sure one way or the other but I can't see how parking a pair of transformers on the output of an otherwise non-transformer coupled amp can be a good thing.
  21. The first question that sprang to mind for me was internal or external?
  22. Happy Birthday!

  24. Feel free to make some suggestions. Today's love of piano selection: The Dresden Dolls - Yes, Virginia
  25. Happy Birthday!
