I don't think there's much to the '4' other than using that wire and wrapping it with a 10AWG ground wire. You can piece the recipe together from the above quote and this link. One more thing I haven't seen mentioned from the prebuy camp (and one specifically for Stephen), the email I just got from Apple (which seems oddly timed after the presale already started...) indicated that you can reserve an iPad for pickup at your local Apple store. Might be an interesting option for those who don't have Saturday delivery options but might also mean deal with the possibility of hoards of idiots.

I admittedly haven't played with the web interface in a while but my recollection is that it was neither pretty nor very snappy. What I'm talking about is something that would mimic iTunes coverflow and allow the iPad to act much like the SB Touch remote does. I know there are already things that sort of do this, the names escape me now, but again when I tried one the responsiveness left me wanting.

It can remote control another music server but cannot be the server itself, at least as far as I can tell. You'd think that Logitech/Slim would be working on an app like crazy.

I'll be somewhat curious to see how long the April 3rd delivery date holds up. There's a finite supply and no one knows what that number is and you'd figure they'd save some percentage to have at their actual stores on the release date as well.

I find it interesting that the website says "Delivers on April 3rd" for the wi-fi models. Does that mean that there going to actually arrive on 4/3? [edit] I guess it must since they say this at the bottom of the page, "If Saturday delivery is not available in your area, iPad will be delivered on April 5."
