NKOTB - TTVJ/Millett 307A Headphone Amp
Do you see me doing either? You're going way over the top with your commentary, I don't care that it's you (although I generally expect more out of you), I just don't feel compelled to sit idly by and watch it. Product names generally are not great, they just are what they are and rarely matter, right? As for thinking it looks like crap, that's your call, I think your taste sucks but I'm not going to debate it with you.

Oh boo fucking ho. I thought that part of what was expected here was to call someone out when they have an unnecessary hair across their ass? Hi reflection, how are you today?

No, I don't care what it's named. Because you're being a whiny bitch about it and Capt. Eddie Current is feeding off you whining. Basically I get the sense that Pete and Todd can do no right in most of your eyes (not directed at you Jacob). Am I fan of their work, clearly, I make no secret about that.

I'm pretty sure that it was two smart, successful guys. I'm also pretty sure that it didn't take a rhodes scholar to come up with Capitole or Prima. Better question, who gives a fuck what it's called?

What did you do today?
We're watching a little Curious George right now and she doesn't seem any worse for the wear so I'm pretty sure that I'm more traumatized than she is. She's keeps saying, "Lily fall, booboo" and pointing to her chin but otherwise is her regular self doesn't seem to be in much pain.

What did you do today?
Had a pretty great day with Lily until 6:10pm when she took a header in the office and cut her chin on the desk chair. 4hrs and 5 stitches later I figure I'll only have nightmares about this for a few months. She's fine and was her normal self while we were there until the actual stitches, that was about as awful an experience as I want to remember. F me, I need a drink.

Post the last thing you bought!
Dinny, If your wife is a Goose fan you should have her try I think it was Reks a couple years ago that got me to try it, there's no going back and thankfully they are priced similarly.

What are you listening to Part Two
Hooverphonic - The President of the LSD Golf Club I'm a pretty big Hoover fan and had never heard of this, their last studio album before Geike Arnaert left the band in '08. It's interesting and seems like quite the departure from their normal style, but so far in a good way. Pity this was never released in the US, I'm simply not shelling out $60-$100 for it.
- Happy birthday, Purk!!!

I'll rummage through the bin this weekend and see what I've got, I think I might have a little something.

What did you do today?
Ooops, my toothache just caused me to drop a certain project.

What did you do today?
Eff all of you. I had a filling done during lunch so I haven't eaten since breakfast and this thread is killing me.

What do you figure is the max reasonable diameter for the knob?
-
finally finished another tube amp
We might have to do something about that knob though, I've got a few bits "laying around" that might be suitable.

finally finished another tube amp
Jesus F, Mark, that is gorgeous.

Has the DAC landscape gotten convoluted lately?
I used to be a song listener but I've become more and more of an album listener. Even when listening to exclusively PC based audio I still cue up a whole album and sometimes even an entire artist's library. As far as DAC's go (and other equipment for that matter) I seem to be trending vintage rather than bleeding edge. My soldering rig now contains nothing built within the last decade.

sick of head-fi
My link was to the forums/index.php? page, but the root .org address does indeed show a HD800 for me. My guess is that Senn is one of the early adopters/sponsors so they get top billing. Too bad Justin couldn't get the Meier Audio Gilmore Lite picture there.
