    HBD JP11801!

    Happy Birthday Nums!!!
  3. Oh, and I also just bought 4 of these (used) Bridgestone Blizzak 245/55/19 for the Highlander. Original MSRP $900ish, used with 10k on them, $350 (no cookie).
  4. They didn't even question it and I was pretty sure they were going to since the 90 would have been a dollar for dollar swap based on the "value" of the D80. Oh well for them, good news for me. I'd read the same thing but doubt it'll be something that I ever have to care about. Everything is a compromise of sorts and the pros far outweigh the cons for this (for me). Me either until they sent me a letter asking me if I wanted to. I was like, "WTF, I don't even have to bring the camera in to show it to them?" Best $100 (or so) I ever spent.
  5. Technically I didn't buy it since it was a warranty replacement for my D80 which went tits up back in early October. I had Best Buy's service plan on it, actually I'd extended the plan beyond the original 3 years and took it in figuring they'd fix it. Evidently parts weren't readily available and after a little pushing they agreed to authorize an exchange. According to the guy at BB this is extremely rare on plans outside their original duration, he'd only seen it one other time. They also forgot to charge me for the difference between this kit and the D80 kit that I bought in 2007. Double win. Initial impressions are very good. The low light performance blows away the D80 and the overall feel of the camera is much nicer. Not sure I'll ever shoot video for it but I may give it a try and see how it does.
  6. Shelly, The pain will get worse as the meds they used for surgery wear off so your PA is definitely on the right track for managing the pain before it starts to hurt. After knee surgery day 2 was way worse than day 1 so don't overdue it. Also, make sure to also manage the side effects of the pain meds which can be equally as unpleasant if ignored. All that said I'm glad to hear that everything went well and I've always taken the approach that they'd might as well fix as much as they can while they're in there so it doesn't really matter what they find (within reason, of course). And stop walking around, hubby should be your slave for a while. Make him get you a little bell.
  7. Get well soon, Shelly.
  8. Well done, Jacob.
  9. Great pics and looks like a lot of fun was had. I hope to make it down for the spring meet if there is one.
  10. Happy Birthday, Dinny!
  11. Did you mean the HP-P1?
  12. Transformed the tractor from mower to snow blower.
  13. Welcome back, Mike.
  14. I'd grab a used duet or good USB dac based on MacBook experience.
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Awesome work, Andy!
  17. I should add, I like the Sipp so much because you can disassemble the top for cleaning. And it never leaks.
  18. Thermos Sipp. I love this mug. http://www.thermos.com/products/sipp-vacuum-insulated-black-trim-travel-tumbler.aspx But like Dan's, it does keep things very hot for a long time.
  19. My team < tebow
  20. Yeah, I got back out for the first time in a long time last year and realized how much I'd missed it. My old skis were spanked and I got a hell of a deal on the AC's, 60% off. Odd to buy skis from Arizona but the price was right.
  21. Knuckles, If you're going to buy one you should also have a transfer switch put in. I've heard horror stories about back feeding gone bad and one from this storm where a guy got a gennie only to nuke his well pump, furnace, fridge and a few others when things didn't go as expected...
  22. Sounds just fine to me.
