  1. I agree with this 100%. Order soemthing off Ebay (probably $5) and use it until it breaks. Not a great solution, but better than the FM option any day. Ultimately, in the last vehicle that I had it was annoying enough that after a few adapters died, one during a long trip, that I dumped a bit of $$ into a newer head unit with AUX input. I'd go to Crutchfield for that. The kit they sent was really easy to follow and install and I think in the end I only had $200 or so into the new unit including shipping.
  2. OH SNAP! Happy birthday, Jack!
  3. Am I the only one who thinks the "balanced" wiring diagram, specifically the amp end of the cable looks a bit off?
  4. Raffy, Just goes to show you what type of competition I'll be providing this year!
  5. Well crap, that sucks. The first time you ran the draft order I was going 3rd but now I'm running 9th (where I usually end up with these things). I also still haven't tagged my keepers... And the wife is out tonight...Fuuuuuuuu.....
  6. Did I miss where League 1 picked a draft night? I can't get on the ESPN website from work...
  7. Stay safe, dry, whatever it takes. [edit]weird, my first edit never showed up.
  8. Rest in peace, Neil.
  9. Yup, I'm hooked on Bisbee. It doesn't bother me in the least to desire a cup of coffee every morning.
  10. Oh hell yes, Andrew will be rocking one of those when he hits the playground in 4 yrs. I may order it now...
  11. Damn Haj, that sucks. Like Wayne, I'm assuming/hoping you're ok.
  12. Well done.
  13. Cheers Matt, wherever you may be.
  14. I use a spec shell in conjunction with the apple smart cover. It's simple, but effective, and doens't cost too much.
  15. If we go the dynasty/keeper route I'd like to see it limited to 2 players. Just my 2¢.
  16. Happy Birthday!!
  17. Got a great ride in this morning in preparation for the 3-notch. Some decent climbs, some sweet descents and rode with a guy that I'll be doing the big ride with.
  18. Happy Birthday, Ian!
  19. I like my S III a lot with a few exceptions. There are parts of touchwiz that seems an unnecessary departure from standard Android protocol. Example - press and hold on any screen to add an app shortcut has been replaced with an action that I can't figure out. Instead, in 'wiz, you go into the app directory and press and hold the app you want to add. It works, but why make it different? I also don't get smooth playback of videos that I've recorded which seems really odd for a phone with as much horsepower as the SIII is supposed to have. But ultimately, like you, I intended to root and ROM the phone eventually.
  20. Sad times. Rest in peace, Matt. Gone, never forgotten, always loved.
  21. All I can say is that this group rocks! I know that the page says that my "goal" was $250 and I wanted to clear that up. When I originally registered I selected the option stating that I would commit to raising at least $250 to cover my entry fee. What I plan to do is to raise as much as possible and still pay the entry fee myself. That way whatever I raise goes directly to NEP and doesn't have to serve to offset the cost of my participation (they provide meals and lodging).
  22. Evidently I have a mean overhand smash with a tennis racket. There was no chance of chasing it out. It was in our upstairs hallway and I was afraid that if Lily or my wife heard much for noise they'd wake up and open their door and make an already bad problem worse. I don't enjoy killing things, this is probably only the second time that I've actively taken something's life, but didn't see that I had much choice. I'm hoping that I found the entry point as well so that I can stop it happening again.
