2012 Three Notch Century - aka Nate's cycling adventure
We were done at 11:30. I'll post a few pics later along with the ride data. I'm doing the one day century next year for sure. Time to replace some of the 6000 calories burned this weekend.

2012 Three Notch Century - aka Nate's cycling adventure
Not bad considering the persistent 20 mph headwind we had for the middle 40 miles. It was brutal.

2012 Three Notch Century - aka Nate's cycling adventure
Day 1 complete. 62.9 miles, 16.2mph and I feel surprisingly good.

Thanks! I'm pretty excited for tomorrow and will certainly report in after both days. If I can snap a few pics with the phone I will.

What are you reading now?
Currently finishing up the Newsflesh Trilogy. About halfway through the 3rd book and have no idea where this is going to end up but it's been a lot of fun so far.

In the event that I decide that I don't need/want one I'd be happy to serve as intermediary and see if I can get you a body or combo at employee pricing.

My brother works for Fuji so once X-E1 is actually avaiable I'm going find out what the employee price is with the kit lens.

Head-Case Fantasy Football
I thought Eli looked ok last night but there were far too many dropped passes that were no fault of his. Regardless 14 out of my QB is not a good start...

2012 Three Notch Century - aka Nate's cycling adventure
I should have said "just about anything else". That said, the Blue Ridge Mountains are equally impressive in my book. But I don't think they get the insane weather that the Presidential Range and surrounding notches get. Up until 2010 Mt. Washington held the record for the highest recorded wind speed on earth at 231mph. I'll be riding along the western slope of Wasington on Saturday and it'll be interesting to see if it's snow covered or not.

2012 Three Notch Century - aka Nate's cycling adventure
Thanks guys, I'm nervously anticipating the pain. I will attempt to provide some semblance of an update after day one and weather/time permitting I'll take a couple of snap shots along the way. For those that have never visited the White Mountains they're pretty impressive compared to anything else east of the Mississippi.

NYC Century Cycling meet! Sept 7th-9th
Raffy, Maybe it's worth disconnecting one of the cables if that's doable and just finding someone to hook it back up when you get to NYC? I'd go for the front derailleur so that if it doens't get perfectly adjusted getting hooked back up it's less annoying than the rear.

Rip Michael Clark Duncan
Bummer. I enjoyed the heck out of him as an actor.

Yeah, I as afraid that might happen. Oh well.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Awesome!

NYC Century Cycling meet! Sept 7th-9th
Way to go, Al! Makes me sad I can't be there. Maybe next year.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Had a decent, productive day at work. Went for a good, 36 mile ride after work. Picked up Thai food on the way home and had a good dinner with the wife after kiddos were in bed. All in all, a decent day.

Squeezebox Touch
Wow, that would suck. I can't believe that they wouldn't offer a single product with a true line-out or digital out option but I guess that's what happens when a mouse/keyboard company buys an audio company. I'll give my Touch a hug when I get home.
