It's unclear to me how you're coming up with 6 pairs of cables. Pair 1 - from source to preamp (balanced or se, it's just one pair) Pair 2 - from preamp to amp (balanced or SE, it should still only take one cable to get to each amp) Pair 3 - speaker cables one cable from each amp to each speaker What am I missing?

I'll offer a somewhat alternate suggestion - there's a few of us around here who have been known to either buy or build more than we need. Odds are good that if you post up what you need (lenghts, styles, etc.) we might be able to offer up some even cheaper solutions. I know I have both balanced and SE cables just sitting around unused... [edit]Hell, I even have speaker cables laying around.

Took a nice 25 mile ride this morning. Made it home just as the rain was starting to fall. Glad that I didn't decide to press for the 40 miler I'd originally planned. Then made salsa verde with Lily, a portion of which will in turn be made into sauce and combined with the chicken currently marinating in the fridge to finally make into Shelly-compliant corn-wrapped chicken enchiladas in a couple hours. This afternoon I rekindled my DIY spirit and changed the cabin and engine air filters in the wife's Highlander. [edit]Shelly, I sincerely hope things can only get better from here. Not worth reporting from here at the office which is as near to a black-out zone as can be found around here. 1700 up/down is about the best I've seen which is a lot better than just 3G service speeds here.

Will do. Initial impressions are pretty stellar. The screen is excellent and the overall feel of the phone is very good. It's light in the hand, fits in a pocket well (better than the droid X despite being larger, due to thinness) and battery life has not been an issue today even though it has had to cycle through 4G/3G several times and even down to whatever verizon's edge network equivalent is and I just got done using it for a half-hour conference call. The 4G speeds are ridiculous, even though at best I get 2/5 bars here at the office. Anyway, I'll give it a few weeks and see how the wow-factor holds up and report back.
