  1. Yup, I'm hooked on Bisbee. It doesn't bother me in the least to desire a cup of coffee every morning.
  2. This.
  3. Oh hell yes, Andrew will be rocking one of those when he hits the playground in 4 yrs. I may order it now...
  4. Damn Haj, that sucks. Like Wayne, I'm assuming/hoping you're ok.
  5. Well done.
  6. Cheers Matt, wherever you may be.
  7. I use a spec shell in conjunction with the apple smart cover. It's simple, but effective, and doens't cost too much.
  8. If we go the dynasty/keeper route I'd like to see it limited to 2 players. Just my 2¢.
  9. Happy Birthday!!
  10. Got a great ride in this morning in preparation for the 3-notch. Some decent climbs, some sweet descents and rode with a guy that I'll be doing the big ride with.
  11. Happy Birthday, Ian!
  12. I like my S III a lot with a few exceptions. There are parts of touchwiz that seems an unnecessary departure from standard Android protocol. Example - press and hold on any screen to add an app shortcut has been replaced with an action that I can't figure out. Instead, in 'wiz, you go into the app directory and press and hold the app you want to add. It works, but why make it different? I also don't get smooth playback of videos that I've recorded which seems really odd for a phone with as much horsepower as the SIII is supposed to have. But ultimately, like you, I intended to root and ROM the phone eventually.
  13. Sad times. Rest in peace, Matt. Gone, never forgotten, always loved.
  14. All I can say is that this group rocks! I know that the page says that my "goal" was $250 and I wanted to clear that up. When I originally registered I selected the option stating that I would commit to raising at least $250 to cover my entry fee. What I plan to do is to raise as much as possible and still pay the entry fee myself. That way whatever I raise goes directly to NEP and doesn't have to serve to offset the cost of my participation (they provide meals and lodging).
  15. Evidently I have a mean overhand smash with a tennis racket. There was no chance of chasing it out. It was in our upstairs hallway and I was afraid that if Lily or my wife heard much for noise they'd wake up and open their door and make an already bad problem worse. I don't enjoy killing things, this is probably only the second time that I've actively taken something's life, but didn't see that I had much choice. I'm hoping that I found the entry point as well so that I can stop it happening again.
  16. Nope, they finally realized that their App was terrible and that no one was using it.
  17. Just did mortal combat with a bat in our living room...and survived. So now I'm having a drink. Fuck me.
  18. Thanks Shelly! I forgot to link earlier - http://www.head-fi.org/t/622177/diy-charity-cable-sale-misc-cables-rca-xlr-mini-power-etc - I listed a bunch of cables at Head-Fi. If anyone who's already donated is interested feel free to make just about any offer you like.
  19. Thanks for all the support, I truly appreciate it.
  20. Hell yes, thanks Todd!
  21. This. Sorry for your loss.
  22. In a little less than a month I'm going to embark on a unique little cycling adventure. Through the course of 2 days (Sept 8 and 9th) I'll be riding a total of 100 miles through the northern part of NH with a group of truly amazing individuals. I've been working hard in preparation for this and have logged about 1,000 miles in the saddle. All of this is in support of Northeast Passage (www.nepassage.org) - NEP is a non-profit organization which provides athletic opportunities for the disabled, including golf, water skiing, hockey, rugby, etc. So if you're able I'd very much appreciate a little support, no amount is to small. There are multiple ways to make donations but the easiest is by simply following the link below to my page on activegiving and using a credit card. NEP is a registered 501©(3) no-profit and the donation is tax deductible. Skip that next frilly coffee beverage, order one less beer at the bar, whatever it takes to justify it. And know that not only will I appreciate it but that you'll be helping to make a real difference in someone's life. http://www.active.com/donate/threenotchcentury12/nmaher Next week I'll be selling a few minor items here (and at HF) to raise a bit of money as well.
  23. Got mine too,very nice.
