  1. Hell yes.
  2. CJ, have you called the doc again? 4 days at that level doesn't seem good.
  3. Hilarious.
  4. Awesome, Al. Jacob, glad it didn't go badly.
  5. Yeah, it's a great place to ride. Hopefully I'll get a few more 1 minute clips loaded up tonight that show the variation in terrain that you experience in a short, 6 mile loop. There are highly technical decents and climbs like the clip shows but also some open, flowing sections, some tight in-the-trees stuff, the bridges, a few big drops for the brave (not me) and even a jump or 3.
  6. Dinny, Get a monopod. During the few times that I shot sports stuff it was invaluable for being super quick to setup/move around while not adding much bulk. It made all sorts of fun shots much more possible not to mention reducing fatigue. Jeff, Super jealous of the fisheye. I've lusted after one for years but seeing how little I use the super-wide that I have the fisheye would probably get even less use. Still, I've always loved the effect.
  7. ^^^Maths, for the win.
  8. A short clip from today's ride at Fort Rock. I'll work on a few more, it took forever to get this one to work.
  9. banned for the simple fact that the DT 880 appeared on that list.
  10. Drugs, drink and rest are about all you should be doing, CJ. Not fun, but it'll hopefully pass pretty quickly.
  11. Dinny, My wife found her mini to be really slippery and ended up getting a hard shell/smart cover combo. I think it's a case made by Speck and the smart cover is the offical Apple version. She likes it quite a bit, other than the mini smart cover not being nearly as functional as the full sized version due to the cloth hinge.
  12. Ina word, insanity.
  13. Samsung GS3 phone, Gene. It does very well outdoors. It was taken at mile 14, in North Hampton on 1A, where I stopped for a snack.
  14. Got up this morning, looked at the weather and saw a big green blob about 5 miles from the house. What the heck. So I rode in in the rain, which was actually quite nice since it was 70+ out. Made good time and it felt damn good to be back on the bike. So much so that I decided to take the long way home down the coast and get 30 in. That decision had mixed results. The scenery was excellent, the 15mph headwind not so much.
  15. Happy Birthday Ben!
  16. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12440200 I think that's pretty similar to what I have.
  17. If you had more lead time I'd send you a pair of the Radioshack cans to use but I don't think I could reliably get them there in time.
  18. Radio shack used to carry some that were small and intentionally inefficient to limt volume exposure. I used a pair with my niece and nephew with good results. It'll all depend on rhe kid if they stay on their head. And Reks, WTF man?
  19. x^4 - you have dropped some serious weight!
  20. Good luck Jeff. Drink more than you think you need to and have fun.
  21. The twonky issue resolved itself but it still won't see my other NAS drive, which is pretty annoying.
  22. I would love to have a dead flat, 20 mile stretch of road to ride to see what I could cook up for an average speed but there's nothing even close to that around here. My fastest solo ride (about 30km) is just a tick over 20mph but includes multiple stop signs, stop lights, intersections that I have to slow for, etc. I do know that I wouldn't really want to push any harder than I did on that ride. I almost never get to ride in a group or even with a partner so I have no clue what sort of speed I might be able to push in a group setting. One of these days I'll tag onto the local shop ride and see how fast I get dropped.
  23. The mini ruck would probably work just fine, Dinny.
