  1. My Comcast doesn't have Luther on demand.
  2. I'm pretty tempted by these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/0180305234-TIFOSI-SPORT-Sunglasses-SEEK-Carbon-Smoke-Fototec-Photochromic-NEW-/370834952896?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56577c52c0
  3. Is that what shaved high-quality transformers look like?
  4. I've been pretty happy with the zeros that I picked up off chainlove last year. I wish they blocked a little more wind but I'll address that next year. I've declared a moratorium on cycling accessories for the year.
  5. They're not bad and for the price, impossible to beat.
  6. Too bad they're white.
  7. That's what I was thinking.
  8. I watched 10 minutes of a movie last night titled (I shit you not) Sharknado. They simply had me at Tara Reid and Ian Ziering. It was the worst thing I've seen since, well, I just don't know what.
  9. It's sad that such a critical part of the audio chain is the bane of the DIY'ers existence. There are next to no good, affordable options once you move past using the RK27. At that point it's almost an RK50 or bust situation.
  10. Nice to know my impressions (and review) weren't total bullshit.

    Ray Donovan on Showtime

Started it last night, so far pretty good. I'll check out the second ep out tonight.
  12. FYI - Competitive Cyclist is having a pretty huge sale today on wheelsets (and other things). They have everything from basic (Askium) to insane (MadFiber) at 33 to 50% off. Stupid fricking furlough. I wouldn't mind trying a pair of the Easton EC70s at half price.
  13. Nice ride, Raffy!
  14. This one is for Raffy... I had a really enjoyable ride into work this morning. I started at a reasonable pace and let myself go a little faster as the miles racked up. By the time I hit the flat section of the ride, about 12 miles in I was cooking along at about 20mph. Overall for 19 mile ride I average 19.3mph and felt good. So this afternoon when I got out of work, after a pretty stressful and frustrating day, I decided to see just what I had left in the tank after 3 pretty hard rides at the end of last week. I expect that this will stand as the high water mark for me for quite some time. Ride Data
  15. Could you explain the differences (briefly) between the two KSA5 PSU's?
  16. My thought is 0 points. You did what you could, it's not like you were aiming for it. I almost tagged a frog yesterday. There was a bridge that was partially submered and the little guy was probably thinking it was the ultimate perch until I went roaring across. I caught his escape on the GoPro so I'll definitely try to get that segment uploaded.
  17. Yeah, it was nice to see most of Sky suffer and fall back. This week will hopefully be really interesting.
  18. The ride with Ian today was good, but with temps in the low 90s again it was brutal even in the shade. I drank way more today than I did yesterday. The Garmin also couldn't track for shit in the woods and this was the second time that this has happened. Didn't happen at all last year on the same trail and the only thing that I can figure is the tree canopy is full right now and it was pretty barren by the time I started on the MTB last year. Either way, not pleased. I'll probably try to grab a speed/cadence sensor to mount on the MTB to track to get more accurate distance results. I'll try to put up a little footage later in the week. Time to prep for the commute tomorrow morning.
  19. Nice work, Raffy! On the fifty miler yesterday I only drank 32oz but that was not enough. I ordered two 25oz insulated bottles last night as a result. I figure that should be enough to get me through a metric century, but migh require a stop if it's hot.
  20. I applaud your choice of connector.
  21. Damn Raffy, that is painfully hot. Jeff, clearly the tour has gotten to you.
  22. We'll have to see how it plays out but those two simply crushed that climb.
  23. Thanks Greg. I'm really happy with that since I had to walk the bike across a pretty long bridge and the Garmin counted that as time/pace since the rear wheel was spinning. Tomorrow will be an MTB day and Monday I hope to get a commute in. Glad you got out Chris but I bet it was hot. I need to find a way to carry more water on the bike. I had to actively manage intake today and ran out with two miles to go.
