  1. This. Take your $ and run (or ride in this case).
  2. Sorry, Jeff, that sucks.
  3. I can add a spud wrench to your toolset.
  4. What Dan said, Gazelle will give you $300 for a 5 (16GB is $310, 64GB is strangely only $320) which would cut the cost of the 5S significantly but they want insane $$ for the off contract phones ($849 for a 64GB, jebus). Or you could sell it to me...PM me if you want to talk.
  5. If you've already been fit to the bike I would ride it for a little while and then think about removing some of the spacers on the steerer. Right now it appears to be setup for little to no drop which isn't an issue from where I sit but as you get more comfortable on it you might want a little more aggressive position. Otherwise I'm with Gene, me likey.
  6. It's the same one from Paceline. The guy paid just over $2k for it, lightly modified a few things (skewers, stem, bottle cages) and now expects to be able to mark it up 25%. No thanks. From where I sit it's an odd fitting bike (longish 60cm ST for a 58cm TT) so the market is limited. The generic carbon clinchers are also a negative from where I sit. Why lace up nice hubs to crap hoops? Still, I'm watching it carefully...
  7. I got two proposals but they were so lopsided that there was no way that I was going to go through with them. I mean seriously, no one should reasonably expect someone to trade a player averaging 24pts/week for two players that when combined don't even match that total, right?
  8. Happy Birthday, Stretch! May life treat you exceptionally well tonight my friend.
  9. This was, without a doubt, the highlight of my day. Great to see you, Gene, and to meet your lovely wife. Todd, yes it was Locos and IMHO is not to be missed if you're in Kittery in looking for a casual lunch or dinner.
  10. I agree, Chris. Everytime I think about buying some new component for the Roubaix that would shave a few grams I remember that I'm still a fatass and that the engine that powers my bike needs a lot more work than my bike does. Now, that's not to say that I don't buy the occassional farkle because I do.

  12. I'm so effing screwed at the RB position. I think 3 of 5 are out for significant periods of time and one of the remaining has scored 0 points so far this year. I look forward to being the league doormat.
  13. done, and well done again Karen.
  14. Done. Sent invites to you, Jeff and Brent.
  15. Agreed although he just needs black rings; the arms are fine as is.
  16. Happy Birthday, Deepak!
  17. Nicely done, Justin.
  18. Why must you guys live the better part of 500 miles away?
  19. Gout?

  22. You may, may have been just a bit harsh, Jacob.
  23. I actually find IOS harder to work with than Android, generally speaking. Neither is perfect, or perfectly clear for that matter but I also don't struggle switching between my iPad and GSIII. I'm not heavy into 3rd party apps so both platforms provide an adequate experience for what I need so having millions upon millions of choices for IOS is of no practical or actual value to me. I've never looked at my phone and said, "Damn, I wish you could do X" and not found something workable in the Android market.
  24. The line that I was given, when we had hail break screens and windows was that if a storm event caused damage to the building envelope that allowed water to enter that it would be a valid, non-flood related claim. If I was Larry I would say that wind driven rain entered the basement through the windown resulting in damage to the walls and floors. Insurance companies have all sorts of little loop holes like this that they sometimes will tell you about and sometimes won't depending on who you are talking to. Example - a few years ago my wife struck and object in the road that came off of the back of a truck in front of her destroying two wheels and two tires. Per my agent, if the object was on the ground when she hit it it would not be covered unless we paid our deductible (the collision portion of our policy) but if it was in the air when she struck it it would be fully covererd by our comprehensive policy with no deductible. So of course I said it was in the air. The agent lead me to say this and I thanked him for his advice but had I been speaking with someone less interested in helping me the situation could have ended much differently and I would have never been the wiser.
