  1. Perhaps not post rock, but Morphine begs to remind you that they showed how epic the sax was in rock.
  2. 96 ain’t a bad run and a seriously impressive resume. Have to wonder if Murder, She Wrote isn’t worth a reboot.
  3. Looks pretty great to me, Jeff. How much does the internship pay?
  4. Lily and I decided that this week required pumpkin muffins with cream cheese frosting.
  5. Looks beautiful, Grahame.
  6. Southern-style cheddar biscuits are in the oven, pics to follow. LATER - had to rush, couldn't quite do them as drop biscuits, but they were tasty. Breakfast tomorrow will be good.
  7. Because, you know, what Russia did 8 months ago was an ambiguous act?
  8. Any IEC socket will be fine if bought from a reputable source. I'll let others chime in on the proper characteristics of the fuse for this amp as I haven't built one. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=iec+socket+with+fuse
  9. I saw that a few years ago and for a while followed his building of V2.0, I wonder if he ever finished it?
  10. Non-stick. At least 15 years old, still works.

  16. Fuck.
  17. I'm glad you enjoyed GOT, I felt like every book was a battle and one that I saw no point in winning. I'm sure I missed out on something by not finishing the series but I admit defeat.
  18. Happy belated, Jim. I’m still catching up on time changes so technically in my brain it may still be your birthday!
  19. Knew I was going to miss this thread yesterday while traveling so sent a text direct, but still wanted to post here. Happy birthday, Stretch.
  20. Happy birthday!
  21. That's a wrap on 2022's event. Summary - it was a beautiful, but very hot/humid day in VT. Temps at the start were in the high 50s (compared with low 40s last year) and climbed to well over 80 w/ feels-like temps approaching 90 by noon. Still, a ton of fun was had by the team - 8 of us - and the 5 that did the century all survived and had some measure of fun along with the suffering. Thanks in no small part to this bunch, the team raised over $28k and the event raised just shy of $1M. I really can't say thanks enough for the incredible generosity of this place.
  22. In Vt. Ride kicks off at 0730 tomorrow morning and I’ll try to post some progress pics.
  23. Love my new to me 1030, couldn't swing all the way up to the 1040.
  24. Happy birthday to you, Jimmy!
