The guidance staff goes back a week before the teachers, who go back back a week before the kids.

Feel better, Brent. Me - stayed home with Lily since Maura had to go back to work this week. We took Andrew out for breakfast before dropping him off at school and will be packing for a picnic lunch at the ocean shortly.

Auction makes it tough for those of us with precious little time to dedicate to draft research and potentially not being able to attend the draft at all. I had no issues with the scoring format last year. I had issues scoring, but hardly think it was the fault of the format...

Sorry for your loss, Wayne. RIP to far too many lately.

Nice. I did the trip to work and back again today (41) which puts me near 160 for the week. I'm shagged.

Colin, You might try riding it as-is for a little while to see if you can adjust some. When I first started riding the Calfee it felt way too long but through a combination of riding it more and making some fit adjustments I've got it pretty comfy.

You know my thoughts on this, Ian, but you gave her the best life that I can imagine she ever would have gotten. It would have been wonderful if there had been more time, but such is the nature of these things in that I'm not sure we ever get as much as we would have liked to have.

I decided to kick my own ass yesterday. 76 miles, 4300ft of climbing including a half mile long section at +10% right in the middle of the ride. I did a bad job hydrating and consequently ended up cramping badly for the last 11 miles. Still managed the whole trip at a bit over 16mph which is a lot slower than I'd hoped but by the end I was just happy to survive.

Day late, but Happy Birthday nonetheless!

All of this.

Verizon vs. AT&T would be high on my list as well.

Happy Birthday! Just for you, here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

I can't think of two corporate entities that I'd rather see locked up in a battle of who can sue for more.
-
For whatever reason I can't see it but a DF for that $$ sounds very good.

shakes head...

Sorry to hear about the trouble with poochies, that's not something I've had to deal with. I'd suggest #1, kept in the back pocket of the jersey while riding for ease of deployment without advertising it on your handlebars.

Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear Production value aside, I dig a lot of this.

Not related to this year's Tour but I watched ESPN's 30 for 30 movie, Slaying the Badger, last night and found it highly enjoyable. Roughly speaking it chronicles the rise of LeMond and focuses on the '86 Tour. I didn't get to watch much of this year's Tour, really just the last few stages and pieces of some of the early ones but watching the last TT was as inspiring as usual. I need to ride more.

Stretch, How big a laptop? I have a Bihn Brain Bag but that may be overkill/too large. If we end up being able to meet up next week I can bring it along and you can take a look/see.

Happy Birthday, Antonio!

I'm willing to be a whipping post again this year.

Computer build help
n_maher replied to crappyjones123's topic in GoRedwings19's Computer Help Hotline
Apple likes their customers to be very happy. Allowing people to fiddle and get frustrated is not really a part of their business model. I get it. Totally. If you choose to go the hackintosh route you should plan on complaining directly to the mirror. That said, sorry to hear you're having issues CJ. I'd recommend the return and punt course of action and either buy and actual Mac product or a Win machine that can do what you want. I have no patience for messing around with computers anymore. I just want to sit down, have it work and do what I want without worrying about it. That's my 2ยข. -
Thanks! It seems impossible that it's been nearly a decade.

Yesterday my wife and I celebrated (slightly late) our 9th wedding anniversary. We dropped the kids of at Nana and Papa's and headed into Boston. Grabbed a few drinks first at the Top of the Hub and then at Jerry Remy's and then headed to Fenway to watch a rare Red Sox win. We were behind home plate, 7 rows off the field and before the game we noticed that a few folks were heading onto the field so we figured we'd give it a try. I'm pretty sure we weren't supposed to be out there but that didn't stop us.

The PPA V2, provided you didn't blow it up when you were biasing it, was a ripping good compact desktop amp. I wish I could get the one back that I built for Florian (founder of Ultrasone).
