It wouldn't work I guess. I'm going to do a few for training but I want to use dovetail for building small gewelry boxes and cigar boxes. Craig, any difference between a "regular" backsaw and one made for dovetailing?

Bought a backsaw, coping saw blades, a set of chisels! I'm going to start making dovetail joints by hand, wish me luck! Dr Wood, any useful tips?

Another crazy day at the tower, tomorrow's the start of the NATO sumit her in Lisbon and ATC is going crazy with all the air defense procedures and whatnot! I'm not sure when Barack arrives, but I'll try to spot his little plane. (the tower I work is is about 5 miles from Lisbon's tower so we can see some of traffic approaching) Birlfriend's birthday today, taking her out to dinner!

Meanwhile in Portugal: 3hours of rain...

We have cable TV and Internet connection in the Tower so the time goes by fast. I'm getting one of those multimedia external HD so I can watch some movies and stuff over there! We also cut the working periods in about 2/3's so I worked 4 hours today instead of 6!

10:30 AM at the Tower now, big thunderstorm and lots of rain! 0 planes! It's always nice getting paid to do nothing!

It has been much harder to learn how to surf than the whole ATC thing! I've been surfing for the last 3 years and am a much better air traffic controler...

So after one year and seven months, I officially finished my course and training for Air Traffic Controler today, after a 11 day examination period. Signed all the papers, went to the beach to surf for a couple of hours and had a nice dinner with my parents! Nice wine too
