hmmm i will have to try both i guess. I didnt think it would make that much of a difference on the HR millett since im still using the Astrodyne PS for it. I guess the cable from that to the amp itself will be a bottle neck for the new improved cable.

Havent bought them yet, but plan on it...its awesome...selling off my klipsch. FUggin hate you Tyrion, you have the kewlest shit for sale...my GOD, my wallet hates you more then anything. I have it hooked up right now CE595-Zhaolu-HR Millett (Preamp)-Model 12's....and OMG...fast, accurate, deep bass, even the headphone amp sounds decent (i said decent). However...not only do i have it hooked up to my Preamp out on my HR, but i have my Home PC connected to Aux1 for my gaming and PC use..i have my laptop DAC (PCM2702) connected to Aux2 which runs foobar and FLAC in ASIO4ALL mode for some more music pleasure. I have 3 different sources hooked up to this beast right now. Even if it sounded decent i would still be in love...sounding as good as it does surprised the shit out of me. Mike called it, he said you going to love it, he was SOOOOOOO right. INCREDIBLE speaker setup. I thought it was going to be the same old same, however its MUCH nicer then my klipsch...of course NO boomy bass...however its not bad for a tiny speaker in a case enclosure. These things are HEAVY...i almost popped a blood vessel in my forehead taking them to the car...i didnt want to show mike how wimpy i was cause i couldnt carry it...i sucked it up and think i hurt myself haha...JK, it really is heavy though. There is also a tape in and out...im thinking to record for the out...but wtf would you need a Tape in for? OMG it cant be that old. Anyway...stole the pics from Mike....im sure you saw it in the FS forum hehe.

I had a chance to listen to these at Canjam and again at Mike's place. I have to admit...they sound really nice. They are full of detail, however full of over bright detail at sometimes. It seems kinda boomey depending on the recording and such. I did like them alot for live concert music. It gave a nice sound to cymbals and such. I dont consider them a R10 killer by any means though. I need more of a comparison with a unmodded pair before i can pass judgement.

hmmm, my zhaolu seems like a pretty nice sounding DAC, even compared to the Lavry it holds its own. However, some spots where the lavry shines, like classical music. I guess i can just troll the boards in hopes someone sells a DPS for cheap ehhe. Maybe find someone selling a used DIY and maybe have it wired for my HR Millett. I ended up getting that power cord...it was only 45$ so i figured it was worth a try.

No, i bought a Virtual Dynamics basic power cord. I want to buy the DPS for my millett =) however wish it wasnt 400$ ehehe.

thats not to bad, might be able to find something used. I noticed no hum at all in my power in my house. im using a surge protector right now since the power has been popping on and off the past few days. I turn it off at night (the surge protector) just in case something happens. So i was thinking it would be a useless purchase since the wiring and the power is clean for the most part. This brought me to thinking about either saving for a HR DPS (God i wish there was a DPS that was better then the Astrodyne and cheaper then the DPS) and a power cord for that when or if i do it.

hmm, thats a thought....are there any decent cheap ones? I know its a longshot question ehehe....

Well, kinda want to test it between a stock and this...my power in my house is ok, no hum thank god. I just saw it and thought i would give it a try.

Is the cable not better then stock? It was cheap, so i thought it was worth it over the stock for the DAC. Im using the Lavry connected to the WA6 and the HR connected to my Zhaolu. I know Grawk wasnt ready for it yet...he said he would get in touch with me when he was ready, although its screaming to stay home with me hahah a =) Just let me know if you want me to send it to you or wait for him big Al.

If you had only 1 good, well made power cable (Better then the stock ones) would you use it on a DAC or Amp? Im thinking DAC, as my Amp (HR millett) is using the Astrodyne PS, which prob will not benefit from the cable. I dunno, im new to the whole AC power cable, so i bought a starter (Virtual Dynamic basic) for one of my devices, just dont know which.

im using a Blackjack2 here in SoFlo and 3G is strong as hell here. I had to hack my phone to accept ISC, however in my area its a strong 1mb download... I was at Tyrion's house last night helping him with his phone/laptop and notice his signal is AWFUL out there. It just swapped back and forth from 3G to E (Edge). My Blackjack 1 was ROCK SOLID in 3G in my area...even tethered to my laptop it was always able to hold a strong signal.

ohh man, that must of hurt like hell....isnt that what happened to Bo Jackson? Medical field now-a-days is leaps ahead of what we were 10 years ago....i wouldnt be surprised if you were on your feet and running a few months after you do therapy. extremely nice sound, very dynamic, sound is HUGE..its got some punch thats for sure. Its transparent, however has a warm-lush type sound that seems less harsh on the ears.

I didnt buy, i free him from his pleasant slumber (inside a box) =) but i have one in my possession and listing to it as we speak...
