I also have the A2s and with or without stands they are pretty damn bad

I agree too, but with these special operations, if you get resistance you shoot to kill. Seeing how his body was taken back to afghanistan maybe there will be a photo leak, but I highly doubt we'll ever see his body/face.

I think that's "Santeria", it's actually illegal over here

Congrats, he has that "hey what'd think?" look on him!

You are right about the 6000 series, I thought he meant going for one of the higher end gpus, like the 6970 or something along those lines. I say i5, because an i7 might go over budget, but ideally an i5+120GB SSD+6850 would make a great system.
-
I'd go the i3+SSD+HDD, are the i5s that expensive over there? The "better" GPU only really matters if you're planning on gaming, there's plenty of great budget ones that will work perfectly well.

the page is only for the model names and to know which lcd uses what technology, if you want reviews you can just google the lcd name, A very good one I know about is the Dell U2711 for example. I'm not sure about the prices in Europe, but that along with an i5 computer should set you back around $2000 total, maybe even less.

You should properly look into s-ips, h-ips displays, there's plenty of them at a good prices, and it doesn't have to be apple. I pasted a link earlier with information about this.
-
I second what Edipis said, you should really research what you want. Also which CRT monitor do you have? I understand the fact that you don't want to throw something away, but it should not matter. Another thing what exactly do you see about the imac display? Here's a link that might give you some more information; http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/s-ips-lcd-list.php

if it makes you feel any good I still have a 4890, the only games I've not been able to play in max details are Metro 2033, Crysis 2, and another one which I don't recall right now... If this is your work computer, you have to focus on what you will use it for and not what reviews/benchmarks or opinions tell you.

If you have the money get a Vertex 3 or one of the new gen Intel ones, or the new Sandforce based ones(like the vertex 3). I actually have a corsair F60GB, but I only use it for my NAS, so far it has not given me any problems. Why do you need RAID? I also still think the i7 is a bit too much for what you're planning. I don't see how you can solve your VGA problem though, unless you just use an adaptor, but if you can save money elsewhere there are great LCD monitors that you can get.

I've really liked the Borgias so far, how many episodes have you watched and what didn't like about them? currently watching Battlestar Galactica s03e11, great show so far, good suggestion from someone on this thread(sorry I can't remember who mentioned it...) edit: new avatar, going to have to get used to it!

that depends on the use, some people(myself) have seen an advantage when using quad core with photoshop, VMs(cpu and memory helps a lot with this), and After Effects. I mention these because they are the ones I have experience with, that doesn't mean there's others. I agree with the cpu, the build seems over the top, especially the power supply, also isn't intel coming out with a new architecture soon? Another thing, what corsair drive and what WD drive are you planning on getting?

The 44mm version, my wrist isn't big enough for 47mm! Along with this strap:

I only have MMGs but I agree with the tilting forward, right now I'm just using the little feet that come with them

Not sure if this is of any help, but when I traveled and bought liquor(also flor de cana quite a popular rum ) I was able to travel with the bottles on the airplane from Panama>Newark, however in Newark I had to pickup my luggage and put the bottles inside then get the luggage checked in. This is where that "no greater than 30oz" line applies. Frankly with the price of the rum in local stores I'd just pay duty pack it with some clothes and check the luggage, you'll avoid a huge hassle.

VirtualDubMod can do this for you

they should've left it go longer, beautiful gif other guy who was asking question, your best answer is to read read read and read some more, then research, and if you're in the u.s. try things out and don't just listen to people blindly

I've got an XDA-1, it's built solid, works nicely as a cheap DAC but the volume control on it isn't very good, with the XPA-2>MMG setup I can never get the exact volume I want, it's also very big so I don't really see it as a desk dac for anyone wondering...
