  1. Actually, it's quite cunning. The back piece is not rigid, and it all folds up into a laptop bag. You can keep them in a 5-point harness for a while longer and when they won't stomach that anymore it disassembles into just your basic cushion booster. Good design.
  2. 2:30 p.m. Friday. Since this is my first CanJam, I'd like to focus on meeting people and listening to gear*. I'll be more than happy to help out next time around. * Maybe the odd wine cooler, too.
  3. Then we'll all be, like ...
  4. With two toddlers in two cars over the last three years, we've been through a couple of car seats! I'll just largely echo what's been said already. The Snugrides are great for as long as they'll fit in there. Both of our kids napped like champs in them, too. Then we went to Boulevards, but you could do the Roundabout if your kid isn't as oversized as mine are. Currently #1 is in a SafeGuard Go booster, which is easy to install and great for travel. #2 will be following shortly, which means we'll have a nice clean Boulevard going begging. Yours gratis if you want it, Thrice. It's pink and flowery, though, which may or may not suit depending on what you're having.
  5. x3 Oh dear oh dear oh dear.
  6. Let's hope it's not just another run of HF-1s at an adjusted price point.
  7. I'm more of a Hulk man myself.

  10. I admit it -- though primarily a headphone guy I enjoy drooling over pictures of beautiful speakers. For the artistry, for the engineering, for the lulz. I would enjoy seeing particularly striking examples you may happen to come across. These really struck me today. New Vienna Acoustics Klimt series. Concentric midrange/tweeter units adjustable for tilt and toe-in. Murata supertweeters. Eton spider-cone woofers. 22Hz - 100kHz. The black one makes me think of Barad-d
  11. Steve Jansen -- The Occurrence of Slope
  12. Don't even know what my contract status is. Was one of the saddos queuing up on Day 1, so that two years is almost over. But probably re-upped when I took the 3G upgrade subsidy. Luckily AT&T's coverage is good where I live, so the only real incentive to switch carriers would be price. Verizon will probably cripple the shit out of their iPhone anyway, as is their modus operandi.
  13. Plane tickets to Orlando. Taking the kids to Disney World for the first time. Oy.
  14. Ultravox -- Quartet
  15. What? I couldn't hear you. I assume the new phone will look the same, but with lots of under-the-hood improvements. Faster processor, more memory, better battery, more capable camera etc. Coupled with the 3.0 software release it should be a nice upgrade. I hope the rumors are true about AT&T cutting the price of their data plans.
  16. Andrew Bird -- The Mysterious Production Of Eggs
  17. Glad the product stands up, as Wes's ad strategy also seems quite novel. I've run across the Neko Audio banner on just about every audio site I've visited in the last month or so and it seems like he's betting heavily -- if not exclusively -- on forum participation and exposure to build his brand. It'll be interesting to see how that works out.
  18. Andrew Bird -- Armchair Apocrypha
  19. What you say and what I hear are subtly different.
  20. Not if I want to use my HD800s on the go.
  21. Signs point to yes.
  22. Martian schlong FTW!
  23. Reks is going to be peeved that they're not deep enough for severed heads.
