  1. I'd buy it back if I had the dough.
  2. That is a perfect name for terrible Italian pornography. It's a Hayao Miyazaki film.
  3. Or this: QDB: Quote #4281
  4. Ham and cheese wheat bread sandwich, bowl of spicy jellyfish, big bowl of rice + bamboo shoots, wood ears and sliced pork, two eggs sunny side up.
  5. Whisk(e)y good. Attempted to learn Normal on guitar and sort of got somewhere. I've never had proper instruction but my dad has always has had this cheap guitar. Figure it might be time to start learning.
  6. PT - Nil Recurring
  7. Awesome, I'll have to check out 2 Amys too (are there actually 2 Amys and are they hot?). For more beer-centric places, I've been to the Brickskeller which was okay - not too much on tap - and sort of the RFD (didn't actually order anything), which has a good selection of beer. For possibly more pizza-centric places, I've been to Ella's wood fired pizza, which has okay pizza but not a very large selection of craft beer. But what they have is good.
  8. Isn't it taking 2+ months for people to get their LCD-2s?
  9. One 4GB chip or 2 2GB chips in dual channel? In any case, time to get to losing to koreans. I have never owned an Apple product, and don't see myself owning one anytime in the near future. Don't want to be caught among the hordes of sheeple.
  10. I don't see an easy way of replacing the pins. This is what audiocats did with Neutrik pin sockets: Tuitorial: How to make a "wood case friendly" stax socket with silver plated Neutrik contacts. - Head-Fi.org Community But I already have a pair of teflon sockets, so I'm good to go. And I actually don't particularly care that the WPI pins are tin plated brass.
  11. Yeah I sent him an email asking the price of a SR-001 Mk2 and he didn't reply. Which is cool, since I guess I've decided to wait for the new model.
  12. I still have four of those suckers and thought they'd be useless, but maybe not. Now I can say I'm using the same jacks Woo use. What I don't understand is why WPI/Amphenol made it so each of the metal pieces is loose. What is the point of that?
  13. It is very interesting reading what you are doing as a tourist in DC Shelly. Apart from a few of the museums that I've been to a million times, I never really know what to do in DC. That Pizzeria Paradiso place was mentioned to me a couple months ago but I have still not had a chance to try it out. Need to get around to it next time I'm in Dupont. Today I'm going to try to best my personal max of 13 hours of practice in one day with - you guessed it - 14 hours.
  14. Good pop. David Oistrakh playing both Shostakovich concertos from Russian Historical Archives CD set
  15. Poor Stretch And it was very inhuman of the roommate to give away his LPs. There's also a Mitsu LT-22 FS on CL. Must resist.
  16. You should exercise, it's good for you. Also make sure to eat your vegetables and don't have too much for dessert. Cut down on late night snacks, brush your teeth, don't pick your nose, keep your nails trimmed, and your facial hair trimmed, and get a good amount of sleep every night. All so you can wake up the next morning, get dressed, eat, go to work, and live out your day in a manner society deems acceptable and, above all else, productive. Rinse and repeat.
  17. Dang, looks like a good find. Have you opened it up yet? And do you prefer low mass tonearms + higher compliance carts? Speaking of CL, this could be kind of interesting: JVC SRC-900 Vintage Idler Wheel Turntable That, or complete junk. Thoughts?
  18. Sort of NSFW
  19. I think OP is onto something with Grados. They're pretty much closed and sound pretty good, especially the GS1k and PS1k.
  20. I agree. The concept pics of the 458 look bloody amazing, but something didn't quite come through in the actual car so it ends up looking a bit garish. Top Gear, then Porco Rosso later tonight
  21. Nice, and nice avatar.
  22. Who is Larry and what did he do to his HE-60? Edit: Oh, that Larry.
