Barnes and Iggy are playing worse than last year, and Klay is pretty streaky. If Draymond and Steph don't show up, like last night, then there's no one to actually score. They should go back to running the offense through Steph, he isn't doing well off ball and Draymond is a turnover machine. Go back to the basics and set screens for your guards, Dray!

Raptors finding their stride against the Cavs, it's a beautiful thing. Can't wait for game 5. JV will be back. Meanwhile, Dame Dolla's post season is over, which means he's got more time to spit bars:

Have you done any of the mods, or just kept it stock?

Wow, I stopped watching at the half and thought GSW had it in the bag since they were up 13 or so. The NBE makes it so close games will go to who they want to win to make things more exciting, and OKC "stealing" a game from behind at Oakland is more exciting than a GSW sweep

Thanks, Steve, and everyone else! I had a migraine-filled day but other than that it was quite nice. Maybe I'll be able to replace it with a hangover this weekend. I've still never gotten one. I don't really drink much these days, though... a fatal flaw at HC which I intend to rectify. Cheers!

Last night's OT was so epic. Do you guys think Curry missed the shot on the final possession of regulation just to light up the Blazers in OT? Yeah it sucks, the East is a bit stronger than last year but they are all still pushovers in the playoffs. Only eastern conference team that had any shot of beating the Cavs was probably the Heat, with a healthy Bosh and Whiteside. They should just do away with East/West and take the top 16 in standings.

Looking for earbuds for running and niking under 250$

I have a stuffed animal 草泥马 on display and no one who has seen it has made the connection yet, or if they did they didn't mention it- 18 replies

Depends on the temperature of the butter, presumably, and the consistency of the batter- 18 replies

goldenreference low voltage power supply

Most likely the LT1021 or opa134, make sure they are working and you don't have them in wrong. Don't connect a psu to an amp until you know it's working... -
Sounds about right. I'll let you know when I have some TOGTE boards made, just in case you want something then. I think I already have a stockpile of all of the transistors needed, but have to double check.

Haha, how did you like the fine artisanal italian felt? Should have picked up more special italian felt when i was in italia the past summer. I believe I have a puck of the moorbrook in my t20v2. Like with some other headphones there is a bass heavy and bass light version. I think I have owned 4 t20v2s, two of which are bass heavy and two bass light. The bass heavy ones are too hard to mod because you need to stack special felt squares to the moon to get rid of bass hump and then they sound peaky and wrong. One layer, maybe two of felt and some foam is enough for the bass light version. One day the plan is to refurb my PS2 jecklins and build a KGTOGTE amp at 650v rails for them. Then build something at a few kilovolts for the acoustats.

Glad for å høre det. Din profil pic er kjempebra. Tweaking orthos is a lot easier than tensioning large esl diaphragms evenly, maybe go back go that in the meantime. I still have felt from the group buy and SFI tweeters from another group buy!

As a Laker fan, I totally agree. These last few years with Kobe getting paid ridiculous amounts as a send-off have partially ruined the franchise, though the FO has made plenty of other mistakes as well and then there's the whole Chris Paul veto thing. His last 60 point game was one for the ages, though. I am very glad they finally fired Byron "Tank God" Scott, took them long enough. Hopefully they will pick wisely in the draft and Luke Walton will turn things around. The losing mentality and complete lack of defense is ingrained in the players right now so it will take some effort. As to your second point, I also agree, but I think it's also because stars are now teaming up to form Big Threes and whatever you want to call them. It's only going to get worse with the huge salary cap bumps in the next couple of years from TV deals/ads on jerseys. The players simply make so much that they don't mind getting paid a few million less to try and go for the ultimate goal of a ring. There's so much disparity between the top 4 or 5 teams and the rest of the league, with GSW and the Spurs clearly dominating every other team. Yesterday's Spurs/OKC game was just embarrassing... I stopped watching at the end of the half.

Sad to hear about the ESL63s, what did you end up doing with them? My Acoustats are still going strong without any tinkering, which is honestly pretty surprising. Hvordan har du det?

I don't have it handy to check but from memory I'm pretty sure it's mirrored from the datasheet, so the NC and - terminals are swapped.

After a few hours of head scratching and retouching solder joints I tested the LM4040s out of circuit (too much work to make a separate order of LT1021s from digikey) and found out the datasheet lists the pins wrong. A new GRLV is born. +18.00V, -18.02V without any parts matching. Happy birthday to Kevin Gilmore, who made this all possible!

I would recommend the heat gun method. If you have to use a soldering iron I would assume you do it like you would any other SMT chip. Solder one pin to hold the chip in place, apply a bit of flux to the other pins then start soldering the rest making sure you don't bridge any pins. If you do, go back and use solder wick when you're done. Be careful not to apply too much pressure or keep the iron in one place too long or you may damage or lift a pad. I think you mean stencil, as opposed to solder mask. You need solder mask for obvious reasons. You don't need a stencil if you are even a bit careful in applying paste, and the solder mask should take care of the rest when applying heat. -
Thanks to both of you! That's a lot of GRLVS.
-
Is that GRLV PCB the one from the most recent group buy? About to build mine out and just want to make sure everything works before I start blindly parts stuffing. Odd indeed that they sound different, let us know if you find out why.

This entire first round is basically blowout after blowout... I'm going to wait until the next round to start watching seriously. The end to that GSW game was nuts, though. Hope Steph's ankle is good enough to play on soon.

Leaving the amp on 24/7 Is it ok?

^ that. I'm glad someone spoke up. Too tired to respond to trolls and ignorant posts these days so I just stay silent, but someone at some point needs to set the facts straight.
