I'm going to wait for more impressions with the O2/exstata (I've given up on remembering what's upper case) combo before I consider buying an O2. As it is, I preferred my SR-5NB or SR-X through the SRD-7 + my CR-620 to the O2 through the SRM-1/MkII.

Definitely agree on that. I think there's a different mentality between genders, which may explain why females aren't forward about these things. What really miffs me is the general level of promiscuity and insecurity the average college female displays. Also, females in engineering is a myth... especially single ones who aren't crazy or excessively nerdy and completely uninterested. I picked a terrible major. I have my Lambdas and my Jecklin Floats for soundstage. Otherwise I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that headphones generally can't do soundstage, though they may have great headstage. Definitely have to hear the HD800 sometime in my life; seems to be right up my alley, despite being dynamic.

That's a damn good deal for what is probably a minor issue that is easily fixed. I'd buy it in a flash if I knew there was a way to build amplification to drive it into producing some treble for cheap.

You just need to open it up enough to be able to blow on the dustcovers a bit. That usually fixes the issue with my 'stats, but I don't have an O2 so I have no idea how to open it up.

What does measuring time delay/resonance through Fourier transforms over the audible frequencies have to do with frequency response?

True, but the amount I spent on all of them combined is less than 1/3 the cost of an Omega. Edit: Uh, whoops. Turns out I overestimated the price of the Omegas and underestimated how much I spent, including transformer boxes and SRM-1/MkII. I spent 1/2 of the going rate of an Omega on all of the above combined.
