People must wear much tighter pants than I do. One I thing I do notice walking around a college campus is how many nimrods walk around with their phone in their BACK pocket.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. A nice quiet day at work as the dean and one assistant to the dean were out sick. Started off with a surprise Starbucks delivery from the Chair of Biological Sciences in the morning and finished off with an eclectic dinner of shredded cabbage salad and stuffed grape leaves, egg rolls, pot stickers, tamale pie and enchiladas with some malted beverages. Now relaxing with a nice Sazerac.

Damn, it's a tough year for celebrities. RIP Polly.

So Karen is running the Chicago Marathon for St. Judes on October 12, 2014. This is the sixth straight year she has run it and she is now older than I was when we met. As parents of a child who had some issues at a young age (but thankfully not anything that required a visit to St. Judes) this is a charity that is very close to our hearts. The Outlaw has a 0 to 180 degree phase control. The Outlaw subs used to be made by Hsu and I believe they still are but I am too lazy to make sure.
