Unfortunately, my one can't do without app, will never be on IOS. I guess I will just have to trudge along with the MBA and iPad non-pro.

So I have been researching the iPad Pro since it was announced and I still do not really see the point to the iPad Pro. If I wanted one tablet device to rule them all I would just wait for the Surface Pro 4. A tablet, no matter how big, that is not running a desktop OS will not work as a laptop replacement for me. If I am missing something, please enlighten me.

Well, actually runs again. Karen is running the Chicago Marathon for St. Judes on October 11, 2015. I actually made a mistake in the year count so this is the eighth straight year she will run it. The total that has been raised over the last seven years has been close to $10,000. Yeah, the iPad Pro doesn't give me anything I don't already have with my iPad Air (except a bigger screen which is not a plus for me). I still need my MBA to run R. Now if the R geeks get R to run under IOS, that's a completely different ballgame.

I am really happy with my Synology NAS, a 1512+ so it is a few years old. The Synology software, DSM is very easy to use and has been rock solid for me since it has been set-up. Initial set-up can take a while depending upon how much data you have to transfer but it has been plenty fast for my needs in everyday use. -

I have been using a Motorola SB6141 for the last year and it has been trouble-free. I use a seperate wi-fi router because all my previous combined units have sucked donkey balls.

Been playing that game for almost 15 years. I look at it as brain-training. We just returned from IU. We dropped Peter off at soccer camp on Wednesday and picked him up today. Seems to have gone better this year compared to last most likely because he is now more mature than me.
